A bit tough posting from my phone since am away from home and my laptop for days now but I tend to be managing to stay active on Hive from my smartphone.

This is my entry post for CCC's Street Art Contest #157 and part 7 series of Africa's Longest Graffiti Mural.

This contest is hosted by @digi-me and please read up on the rules for partaking in the contest here.

The above photo is from where I stoped last week in part 6 of the series, it makes sense now why the person in space is excited, I think it is because she could spray on the man moving towards the drum.

A closer shot of the drum they seem to be dancing around.

I like painting down on the lady, a faint kind of painting but sends the message in detail. Very beautiful 👌

From what I garthered the artists; Oshea and Xan worked on this painting.

The location of this mural is in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

The aim of the Effet Graff festival is to achieve one of the longest murals in the world.

They surely did! I always wanted to do this when I was younger, but never had the opportunity. More such opportunities need to be given to young artists to decorate our cities!

True I am beginning to appreciate graffiti artists now that I joined the street art community I think there should be more opportunities created for artists to exhibit their talents.

And the great thing about graffiti is just how quickly the art can change. People collaborate and continually redecorate the works. I really love that it is so "alive", if that makes any sense!

I am discovering that about graffiti, this series I am sharing was a festival that had several artists from around the world.

Artists are very talented, they should be appreciated and recognised more.

Running around the drum a lovely painting with lively figures, all barefoot having fun.

Hope your trip won't keep you away for too long, working from a phone definitely not ideal for me...

This section of the wall depicts a lively painting as the characters run around the drum. Well done to the artist for a great job.

Yesterday productive today not, I hope for progress for the remainder of the week. So much I want to do but working on the phone is limiting.

Thank you, that was me some years ago, all I did was via my phone but since using my laptop for 2 years now, I have been struggling to be efficient.

You describe the mural well, the painting does pull one to look for details.

Part 6 is beginning to make more sense now! The liveliness of the characters floating around is just superb. It looks like their garments are made of star like backgrounds. Really beautiful painting with a color background :)
