Scent leaf is an Healthy plant used for so many purposes,it's used to fight against cold and cattarh. It can also be used to cure stomach illness such as cholera, dysentery etc. When mashed into a paste, it is very good for skin care and it also fights skin infections like ring worm. When brewed into a tea, it can be used for menstrual cramps to help ease the menstrual pain.
BENEFITS OF SCENT LEAF TO THE BODY
Scent leaf is rich in calcium, phosphorus,iron, potassium and vitamin A.
It is used to counter cancer, control blood sugar, boost digestive health and they are beneficial to the heart.
The sweet smelling leaf can also be used as spice due to it's aromatic taste and flavour that it adds to meal.
Most Nigerians use it as spice especially inside their pepper soup for taste and aroma.
