Towards the Falls

I finally get to share some of the photos from the recent road trip to Georgia for Tiffany, her boys and I. Getting eloped was the primary reason we booked the resort out at Apple Mountain, but we also wanted to make sure we did what we always do and that is explore by visiting fun places, especially if there is some fitness activity included.

If you have walked up steep mountains, then you know that will definitely test your fitness. All the time Tiffa and I have put into our workouts under the orange lights help immensely walking up inclines, since we are tested on our endurance constantly.

We lucked out, because we visited ANNA RUBY FALLS the day after we arrived in Georgia. The walk hikes were an absolute must during this trip, so we walked up two and drove up a few.

At the first spot, the goal is to reach the top, so you can check out the waterfalls. The weather was surprisingly crisp. When we woke up that morning, we had to defrost the car for about 15 minutes, so we believed we would freeze our butts on that scheduled hike.

Thankfully, it remained crisp opposed to freezing cold.

There are a lot more photos on this first hike, but I picked out the handful that would provide a pretty good view of what we experienced.

I have been to the Grand Canyon, so it's hard to top that. Actually, not even close, but this hike at ANNA RUBY FALLS was a fun one and we all enjoyed it a ton.
