This photo is one of my prized possessions because of some heartfelt reasons, but the number one reason was because it was my fiancé Tiffany and my first getaway as a couple.

We've traveled and done a bunch of road trips since then.

We flew out to Chicago to attend the wedding reception of one of Tiffa's childhood friends.

When you travel with someone, it's not easy; so how it all came together as an amazing trip, gave us the comfort of knowing that we would make perfect travel buddies. Of course, we are getting married soon, so she is more than a buddy lol. We've build a life together with her boys and as a family we've traveled with the boys at times and each time we've had a great time, as well.

This particular trip to Chicago also was exciting for me, because I was hoping to get that city feel that I missed. I was still missing New York in 2015, so knowing that there would be similarities had me stoked.

The areas of Chicago that we walked around was awesome and the night time stroll we took was also great. THE MAGNIFICENT MILE did not disappoint to bring that TRUE city feel I miss at times.

The picture I uploaded for this post was one of those photos I took during this trip. It was way before my first iPhone, so I had androids mostly before that.

Great photo. The Windy City is a great place. I've only seen bits and pieces on Chicago PD and the Chicago Fire though. !LOL

Amazing how Chicago is so beautiful in parts and yet so terribly deadly and politically corrupt at the same time. I now live 2 counties south of Cook County and am content to look at pictures of Chicago. Last time I lived in Chicago was the Walter Payton football era. I was also there when Geraldo did the TV show opening Al Capone's vault. I guess I am pretty old. !CTP

I could say the same about my beloved New York. So much good but so much bad. Hey @fiberfrau you are only as old as you feel. I'm no spring chicken but I still have a pep to my step lol.
