Meet Me on the Palm Side

Entering the last July weekend of the year, I can't complain with how the summer has gone so far. Yes, I currently miss being under the orange lights, but when you live in Florida there are plenty of things to distract me until I get back to working out.

Tiffany's boys are starting school in a few weeks, so we will probably take them out of the house tomorrow and go take a stroll at another great part here in Central Florida. Baldwin Park is one of my favorite places to run, but a leisurely walk is just as awesome.

There may be a few picture taking opportunities, although it doesn't have that amazing landscape like Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando, Baldwin Park will provide some chances for photos.

We are also, going to eat Pizza at a place called Lazy Moon where the slices are huge. Reminds me of some pizza joints in the Bronx. Although, I'm a Brooklyn boy; New York as a whole had a lot of Pizza spots to enjoy.

I'm a Pizza snob, so very few places here in Florida have made the cut; but once you live away from New York for so long then you have to find the best possible and Lazy Moon is not so bad.

If everything goes accordingly, our Saturday is planned out well. Sunday will be a rest day, as Tiffany and I prepare for what we hope are 2 weeks of final physical therapy appointments, x-rays to see where we are at as a result of the treatments and prepare to begin intense activities again. Not to mention, finally get back to posting my @actifit results and the breakdown of how I earned them. I really missed that too.

I've had some kick butt photos in my iPhone10 camera roll, especially from this summer and this particular one that I uploaded for this post was taken at our visit to the Disney's Polynesian Village Resort when we met up with Tiffany's oldest son, girlfriend and her Dad and girlfriend.

There are 31 types of palm trees in Florida and honestly I am not sure which one this one is, but Tiffa and I are leaning towards a Date Palm? Anyway, it caught my eye and it was simply on the side of the restaurant we ate breakfast at.
