I Want to See What Happens if I Don't Give Up

We are three months into the year and I still feel like we are spinning our wheels as a society, as a country, just the human element across the board.

I myself, have been through the gamut, like many; but albeit blessed to be in the position, I am now.

I've recently been promoted at my work and it's fully remote work, which doing so well without physical interaction is interesting; that I am able to still exceed my own expectations.

Truth be told, the pandemic jacked me up physically and it almost did a number on me - mentally. Total dark side for a minute.

With all that said, today I'm in a good place and my fiancé and her boys are all doing well and like me, Tiffa still has some long COVID issues, but the boys outside of those nasty coughs that seems to happen when they go back to school - we are all healthy enough to wake up blessed.

Tiffa, had a much bumpier road after being laid off before the pandemic, finding a position at an old employer then laid off again when the pandemic hit, going into real estate with a rough go of it and then ending up at an old employer of mine and back to doing what she loves best in group sales as a Manager - which is what she was doing before all the madness.

So you see, none of us ever gave up.

Right before the pandemic, I had an itch to get back into online marketing and although I initially left it, the first time around; disappointed and down on myself for not accomplishing much from it - I still knew in my gut that I would try it once again, someday.

After overdosing on Gary V and getting pumped up, I started dabbling again and put a bit of time into it, but it was limited; because I still was working at an office - at the time. So commute time sucked up some of that free time, I have now to put into my HIVE and Online Marketing activities.

Then the pandemic hit and things shut down and everyone knows the rest, because we all went through the same shit. Perhaps not the same things, but we all felt the weight of the pandemic one way or another.

It took over a year before Tiffa, her boys and I caught the damn thing.

For the past 2 years, I've had some micro successes with my online marketing; but the biggest thing to come out of this whole thing, I mean the hugest thing; was joining the HIVE community by way of CTP and that changed the whole landscape for me.

As I did with my health and fitness journey, in finding a place and people that elevate me to be better physically and mentally; I found a community that provides hope to build a comfortable future and if all goes well; I can retire without any worries.

We see what is happening currently on this planet and it shows each and everyone of us, that we are and will forever face monumental challenges; but we must continue to fight tooth and nail and NEVER GIVE UP - because you will never know what will happen if you give up.
