As we swiftly move through December and into a a new year soon, I begin to reflect on how challenging the last two years have been for Tiffany and me. Our relationship is solid and we cemented that by getting married recently, but her and I have gone through a lot of physical ailments and for two people that have been on a health and fitness journey almost twenty years combined you can see how that can mentally drain a person.

With all that said, there are always positives to build and lean on for the upcoming year.

Posting my thirteenth #Index4Index submission today, I wanted it to revolve around patience.

Why?

All that is positive for me today has all been because of my willingness to give it time. Being patient is probably one of the hardest things to do and I'm sure there are many who would agree with that.

When I made the decision to focus on my health and fitness, I knew that the changes would not happen overnight, but I was all in and although with the issues setting me back recently, I continue to fight through it, because I know how powerful being patient is.

When I decided to put in the time on HIVE, I wasn't sure what to expect. My expectations were definitely different my first week, but learning from the CTP team and actually getting the lay of the land, I realized that this journey will require patience to have success here.

These internal battles to remain patient when we want something so bad is rough, but WOW how amazing is to see the progress and results along the way.

Patience is a struggle for me. This journey on Hive is the longest I've stuck with anything since I went through college. I like this journey way better.
No papers
No exams
And actual results for my efforts.
So, I guess I have Patience but it's selective.

I gained knowledge from this wise remark.
Being patient is a virtue, and if you lose it, you'll lose the battle.
Being consistent and patient is necessary if you want to succeed in life.

As an illustration, let's use the Hive ecosystem as an example, Some people joined Hive a few years ago and left later on because they were not earning as much money as they had hoped. However, their friends who joined at the same time as them and who have been consistent and patient have grown to be powerful members of the ecosystem.

The key to a successful life is patience. Does the index4index contest take place weekly?

Ahh indeed losing patience means losing a battle.
For someone like me who is impatient this seldom happened though thankful not in a big events of life or else I'll be doom!

Your words are really motivating as touching patient, it is also said that the patient dog eats the fastest bone. In life it gives you all you can ever ask for because event unfold with time, so hurry over anything you may lose the chances of getting it right. Thanks for those words and quotes
