We are merely a few days away from closing the latest chapter in our lives and begin our new year's path. Hopefully, you are on a good pace right now and just building on it, but if not and you have to pivot to a new path, it's a great time to start fresh and that is definitely exciting.

I have a handful of things I would like to forget about 2022, but there are too many special things that will make this an epic year regardless of the rough stuff that happened.

It is difficult to dwell on the negative, because the special moments is what is truly all about and yes, we have to go through the trials and tribulations throughtout our lives to really appreciate the good things that happen.

If we are waking up to face another day, that is a blessing.

I end the year recently married to my best friend and the person I've spent the last seven years plus with, so that along softens the blow of situations that made it a tough year for us.

Ultimately, there are some positive things that happened that we have to be thankful for.

Although, we have continued to workout despite the constant setbacks, we intend to join the annual January through March Transformation Challenge at our workout spot. Tiffany and I are not doing it to win anything, but for us to reset ourselves on the dietary side. We will continue to do our High Intensity Interval Training sessions for five days a week, add a walking activity once every weekend, we have a running event each month through March scheduled and one more to book in April and take the one rest day, usually Wednesdays, like we always do.

Nothing of the above is nothing we haven't done for many years, but we did become less strict with our eating habits and that is something we want to focus on this upcoming year.

As I look beyond 2022, there are some key things I'm looking forward to. There is a plan to take Tiffa's boys on a trip to my beloved New York. I hope that Tiffa and I have less injuries to deal with this year and I will continue to be active on HIVE without missing a day as I've done up to this point. I haven't missed a day since February 2021 and in a little over two months I begin my third year of daily activity without missing a day on this amazing blockchain.

Congrats again on getting married Jimmy and Tiffany! The best thing to do is to focus on the positive. I know sometimes life can get pretty rough, but coming out positive on top of negative is an awesome and great achievement. It's not easy. It takes more work to be positive. I read that somewhere. I forget where though. Maybe you wrote about it Jimmy 😄

Most of the year has been good to us too. There are always challenges with which to deal.
The difference is made in how we choose to look at and respond to them. You and Tiffany are a great example of that. Happy, Safe and Prosperous 2023 to all of you!
