Amigurumi - Manta de apego

Una compañera de trabajo me contacta para que le haga dos mantas de apego tejidas, una de winnie the pooh y una de flash, ya que los padres de dos diferentes parejas-padres son fanáticos de estos personajes. Acordamos las características y los costos asociados a este pedido para dar inicio a este proyecto. Hoy les comparto el proceso de la manta de apego de Winnie the pooh.

A coworker contacted me to make two knitted cuddle blankets, one of Winnie the Pooh and one of Flash, since the parents of two different couples-parents are fans of these characters. We agreed on the characteristics and costs associated with this order to start this project. Today I share with you the process of making the Winnie the Pooh cuddle blanket.

Para dar inicio al proyecto, lo primero que hice fue revisar los hilos que tenía, no tenía los colores rojo y amarillo, por lo cual salí a comprar el material que me hacía falta.

Una vez obtenido los materiales, comencé tejiendo la manta en los colores amarillo y rojo, estos son los colores representativos de este osito Winnie pooh.

To start the project, the first thing I did was to check the threads I had. I didn't have the red and yellow colors, so I went out to buy the material I needed.

Once I had the materials, I began knitting the blanket in the yellow and red colors, these are the representative colors of this Winnie the Pooh bear.

Siempre me ha gustado dar un acabado a mis proyectos, en este caso con punto cangrejo he tejido la orilla de esta manta, es un punto que aporta mucha calidad a la labor.

I have always liked to give a finish to my projects, in this case I have knitted the edge of this blanket with crab stitch, it is a stitch that adds a lot of quality to the work.

Siempre me ha gustado dar un acabado a mis proyectos, en este caso con punto cangrejo he tejido la orilla de esta manta, es un punto que aporta mucha calidad a la labor.

Seguidamente tejí la cabeza agregué su hocico, el cual bordé. Me gustó mucho como ha quedado la unión del hocico, quedó muy prolija. También tejí las orejitas. Acá cuando se va formado la cabeza del amigurrumi, me empiezo a emocionar.

Next I knitted the head and added the snout, which I embroidered. I really liked how the snout came out, it was very neat. I also knitted the little ears. Here, when the head of the amigurumi is forming, I start to get excited.

Anteriormente, había tejido para esta misma compañera una manta de apego de conejita, y esa conejita tenía florecitas en la cabeza, ella pidió que este winnie the pooh llevará florecitas. En el momento que ella me comentó que este osito llevaba flores no me detuve a pensar. Ahora, bien luego de tejer las florecitas y hacer la pruebas de cómo lucen en la cabeza, me percato de que Winnie es uno oso, no una osa, más mi compañera fue clara con ello, de que llevaba flores. Le compartí los avances de cómo iba la manta, y le pareció fantástica, aún cuando le comenté que Winnie es oso, ella me dijo la bebé que va nacer es una niña, así que este winnie es una osa niña.

Previously, I had knitted a bunny blanket for this same classmate, and that bunny had little flowers on its head. She asked that this Winnie the Pooh wear flowers. The moment she told me that this bear was wearing flowers, I didn't stop to think. Now, after knitting the flowers and testing how they look on the head, I realized that Winnie is a bear, not a female bear, but my classmate was clear about it, that she was wearing flowers. I shared with her the progress of how the blanket was going, and she thought it was fantastic, even when I told her that Winnie is a bear, she told me that the baby that is going to be born is a girl, so this Winnie is a girl bear.

Para mí lo más fascinante de este proyecto es la abeja, me encantó como ha quedado y le da un toque absolutamente primaveral en complicidad con las flores.

For me, the most fascinating thing about this project is the bee. I loved how it turned out and it gives it an absolutely spring-like touch in complicity with the flowers.

Una vez unida todas las piezas, he obtenido como resultado una fabulosa manta de apego, con unos colores bastante vibrantes, ha quedado muy dulce y adorable, seguramente los padres quedarán encantados con este obsequio, al ser la madre fans de Winnie the pooh.

Once all the pieces were put together, I got a fabulous cuddly blanket with some very vibrant colours. It turned out very sweet and adorable. The parents will surely be delighted with this gift, as the mother is a fan of Winnie the Pooh.
