Amigurumi - Dinosaur

Siempre que tengo la oportunidad mientras converso con alguien que apenas conozco le hablo de que tejo y de lo que hago tejido, y si la conversación avanza le muestro mi Instagram, agregando que no tengo ni el 25% de mis creaciones, el que me escucha queda fascinado de mis creaciones.

Este proyecto salió de una de esas conversaciones, la señora me dice que si le puedo hace run dinosaurio, paso siguiente intercambiamos números de teléfonos y desde ese momento comenzó la magia para un nuevo proyecto.

Whenever I have the opportunity, while I'm talking to someone I barely know, I talk to them about what I knit and what I knit, and if the conversation progresses I show them my Instagram, adding that I don't even have 25% of my creations, whoever listens to me He is fascinated by my creations.

This project came out of one of those conversations, the lady told me that if I could make her a dinosaur, next step we exchanged phone numbers and from that moment the magic for a new project began.

Para poder conocer lo que realmente deseaba la señora, busqué algunas imágenes en Pinterest, le envié cuatro, y ella seleccionó una de esas cuatro (lamentablemente no la conseguí) para agregar a esta publicación.

Lo que si es cierto, es que no tenía patrón, este es uno de mis primeros trabajos sin patrón, eso aún me tiene contenta.

Hice el boceto de lo que quería tejer, para tener una idea de a qué me enfrentaba.

In order to find out what the lady really wanted, I looked up some images on Pinterest, sent her four, and she selected one of those four (unfortunately I didn't get it) to add to this post.

What is true is that I had no pattern, this is one of my first jobs without a pattern, that still makes me happy.

I made the sketch of what I wanted to knit, to have an idea of ​​what I was dealing with.

Comencé tejiendo la cabeza para agarrar confianza era lo que tenía dominado.

Para este proyecto, utilicé tres colores de hilo de algodón, en predominancia el verde. El solo tejer este proyecto, te deja vibrando, los colores ayudan a imprimir ese estado de ánimo.

I started weaving the head to gain confidence, it was what I had mastered.

For this project, I used three colors of cotton thread, predominantly green. Just knitting this project leaves you vibrating, the colors help to imprint that mood.

Esta parte me encantó, tejer estos picos fue todo un reto para que cuadrarán perfectamente desde la parte posterior de la cabeza hasta la punta de la cola.

Como siempre fijo las piezas con alfileres antes de unir definitivamente a la pieza central, esto de usar alfileres cuando se unen piezas de un amigurrumi es fundamental en la calidad del producto.

I loved this part, knitting these spikes was quite a challenge so that they fit perfectly from the back of the head to the tip of the tail.

As I always fix the pieces with pins before definitively joining the central piece, using pins when joining pieces of an amigurumi is essential for the quality of the product.

Siempre me gusta ponerle un toque especial a los amigurrumis, en este caso quería tejerle una bufanda y no sabía en qué color de hilo tejerla. Así que recurrir a la que más sabe de colores y de su combinaciones, la mayor de mis dos sobrinas. Tuvimos una conversación interesante sobre los colores y llegamos a que en azul y amarilla quedaba perfecta, y me parece que es así.

I always like to put a special touch on amigurumi, in this case I wanted to knit a scarf and I didn't know what color yarn to knit it with. So I turned to the one who knows the most about colors and their combinations, the eldest of my two nieces. We had an interesting conversation about colors and we came to the conclusion that blue and yellow looked perfect, and I think that's the case.

Una vez terminado terminado llegó el momento de entregar el amigurrumi, en este caso debería ser enviado a través de encomienda, ya que la señora vive en una ciudad diferente a donde vivo. Hice el trámite correspondiente para el envío.

Y con este envío pasó un imprevisto, la caja con el amigurrumi no llegó a su destino en el tiempo previsto, casi entro en pánico, la señora me escribe diciendo que le informan que la caja se ha perdido.

Empezó una travesía de trámites de mi lado, ya que el reclamo se debía hacer del lado de quien envió. Estuve alrededor de dos semanas en este trajín, luego de idas y venidas, la caja apareció con el amigurrumi en buen estado. La señora quedó satisfecha con el resultado y por tener el amigurrumi con ella.

Once finished, it was time to deliver the amigurumi, in this case it should be sent via courier, since the lady lives in a different city than where I live. She made the corresponding procedure for shipping.

And with this shipment an unforeseen event happened, the box with the amigurumi did not arrive at its destination in the expected time, I almost panicked, the lady wrote to me saying that she was informed that the box had been lost.

A journey of paperwork began on my side, since the claim had to be made on the side of the sender. I spent about two weeks in this hustle and bustle, after comings and goings, the box appeared with the amigurumi in good condition. The lady was satisfied with the result and with having the amigurumi with her.
