Amigurumi - Body

Aún me asombra, me cautiva y me maravilla lo que puedo lograr con el tejido, el como orquesto mis manos, mi mente y todo mi ser en una mágica sintonía para producir resultados que superan gratamente mis expectativas.

I am still amazed, captivated and amazed by what I can achieve with knitting, how I orchestrate my hands, my mind and my entire being in a magical harmony to produce results that pleasantly exceed my expectations.

En esta ocasión les comparto el cuerpo básico de una amigurrumi mujer. Comencé por los pies, y esta vez quise ensayar cómo articular las partes del amigurrumi. Recuerdo que lo empecé a tejer una noche y quería empezar a incorporar el alambre, que me percato no tengo. Le pedí a mi mamá me ayudará a revisar si uno de los ganchos en donde se cuelga la ropa es manejable y así poder usarlo para la articulación. Buscamos y buscamos en todos los closets, y finalmente mi mamá consiguió el que me podía funcionar.

Mi mamá me ayudó a cortarlo y darle la forma para introducirlo en la pierna. Es importante antes de introducir en la pierna, la punta del alambre se debe envolver con alguna cinta plática, de tal forma evitar algún accidente a futuro, ya que la punta del alambre se puede salir del tejido.

On this occasion I share with you the basic body of a female amigurumi. I started with the feet, and this time I wanted to practice how to articulate the parts of the amigurumi. I remember that I started knitting it one night and I wanted to start incorporating the wire, which I realized I don't have. I asked my mom to help me check if one of the hooks where the clothes are hung is manageable so I can use it for the joint. We searched and searched in all the closets, and finally my mom found the one that would work for me.

My mom helped me cut it and shape it to insert it into the leg. It is important before inserting it into the leg, the tip of the wire must be wrapped with some plastic tape, in order to avoid any accidents in the future, since the tip of the wire can come out of the tissue.

El hecho de ir tejiendo bordeando el alambre, retarda el resultado, más cuando me imagino el resultado, no me importa demorar. Quería que este cuerpo se quede parado, por ello e incorporado los alambres al proceso.

The fact of weaving along the edge of the wire delays the result, but when I imagine the result, I don't mind delaying. I wanted this body to stay still, so I incorporated the wires into the process.

Me fascina cómo se va formando el cuerpo con todos sus detalles, piernas hasta con rodillas, la muñeca luce sus caderas e inclusive tiene senos. Es asombroso el arte y sus manifestaciones.

Tejer el cuello de la muñeca me costó muchísimo, es que el diámetro de la barra del silicón no me dejaba tejer con facilidad. Fue todo un reto que he logrado, y eso me hace muy feliz.

Knitting the doll's neck was very difficult for me, because the diameter of the silicone bar did not allow me to knit easily. It was quite a challenge that I have achieved, and that makes me very happy.

Finalmente tejí la cabeza, cuando llegué al color marrón, que es donde colocaré el cabello, sentí una dicha plena. Es más tardé en terminar la cabeza, ya que hacía una puntada y me detenía a ver cómo lucía, cómo se para. Es que es una preciosura de resultado.

Finally I wove the head, when I got to the brown color, which is where I will place the hair, I felt complete bliss. It took me longer to finish the head, since I would make a stitch and stop to see how it looked, how it stands. It is a beautiful result.
