Bus Ride
Ohhh, what a day. The first day I went for practicals from the school campus, it was a day to remember. Well first, I wasn't able to eat in the morning before going just because I had to go out early and wait if I had any hope of entering the bus.
Well fortunately for me it paid off because I was able to enter the bus. Another thing was that if I was not able to enter the bus, I would have been stranded cause I didn't have money for transportation.
That aside, when I was able to enter the bus I had to share my sit space with someone which made the ride so uncomfortable. But I had to bear cause there was no other sit and the person I was sitting with was not even helping matters, he was not giving me any breathing space.
We reached our destination after many stops, turns and wobbles. I got out and felt very free. We entered the hall for one out of three of the practicals we were going to have and it was a mess, it felt like it was hit by a hurricane. It was not even a little bit conducive for learning but we had no other choice than to stay there.
Aside from the mess and the inconvenience the fact that there was no power supply added in worsening the state of the hall. The classes began, I was present in the hall but I was not myself as I started feeling the effect of not eating before coming. I also had to stand when in the laboratory because the seats were not enough.
I started having headache, feeling dizzy, weak, God! I was so hungry. My friend had to forfit her space for me because it reached a point were I couldn't stand again. After sitting for sometime I felt a lot better, but still felt a little headache. I managed to regain myself and started listening to the lectures.
After many hours in one class I started feeling hungry again but this time it was not as severe as the first time, thank God. The class was about coming to an end so I tried to endure cause after that I was planning to go and find something to eat.
The first class came to an end. I came out with my freinds planning to go and eat, but lo and behold all the food stalls were closed oh God what's this after all my hopes of coming to eat, since there wasn't any food stall open we had to go outside the gate. Luckyly for us the was an uber to take us, after we went out we found a stall were we ate.
And ohh I was so relieved. We went back to class which consisted of the remaining two practicals, it went on for like four to five hours. I was very tired and hungry again. We were heading home so I just got into the bus that is after running to it and sat comfortably this time.
So yes that was how my day went. Very stressful, long, and frustrating.
