Inter-District Rafting Championship part 2 (Strengthening skills towards competition)
Hello friends, let's continue with part 2, still with the ambition to become champions, the athletes have been selected and have been gathered in male and female formations and on the third day the athletes have been equipped with athlete discipline which they must obey when the coach starts his instructions.
There is something different from today's training, they were trained directly by the TNI, to meet the stamina needed they were given the task by the trainer to actively move to run a marathon from dawn to 9 am, it can be seen that they were physically drained by hard training.
the training location is in Pante Raya Village, Bener Meriah Regency. The weather in this area is very cool and beautiful with mountain views.
is an active volcano in this district, this mountain is named Burni Telong and this mountain has a height of about 2624m above sea level.
after practicing from morning to noon, in the afternoon they are trained again to equalize the strength on the side of the boat, they are trained in calm water so that it is easy to see if there is an imbalance in the team.
equalizing power Rowing is an important factor in a match, usually there must be chemistry between the right and left sides of the boat, or even have experience and flying hours, but they have never had that experience.
therefore their practice this afternoon was to equalize the strength of the right and left sides in terms of oar power, they were selected one by one until they got a balance oar.
their enthusiasm was showered with rain until they became super excited and there was no tired look on their faces.
So far the athlete's development has been very good, they very quickly understood the basic techniques and quickly mastered them, the effort they showed has been a source of enthusiasm for those who have followed the training process until now.
for female athletes it is very unconvincing, even though they already understand the technique but they are still weak in rowing power and are not very compact, I don't know what will happen in the competition later.
Hopefully with the enthusiasm they have they can win the championship in the match later. they will be in quarantine before the game.
to undergo coaching on competition regulations, there will be 4 competition disciplines.
The first sprint is one by one the boats will be released with a short distance and the boat's speed will be the determining factor.
The second is Head to head, where two boats are pitted and released simultaneously and the speed is used as a technical reference for the assessment.
Third, slalom is a sport that competes in rowing speed and controlling a boat to cross the obstacles provided on the river.
fourth Down River Race is a racing discipline that refers to speed over long distances.
