A Feast Fit for a Queen: Celebrating Mom's Birthday at Vikings SM Cebu

To the woman who has given us so much love and care over the years, we decided to fulfill her simple birthday wish by treating her to a buffet at Vikings in SM City Cebu. It was her first time experiencing this buffet restaurant, so we couldn’t deny her request. Arriving at Vikings 30 minutes after my sister and mother, we found them already immersed in the diverse buffet offerings. Despite her recent strict diet, I was amazed to see Mama indulging in the feast before us. I assured her that today was a well-deserved cheat day. Encouraging her to explore, I introduced her to my favorite dishes like sashimi and sushi. Throughout our four-hour stay, I encouraged Mom to sample dishes from various cuisines. From succulent roasted beef to flavorful seafood paella, she eagerly savored each bite, her happiness evident with every dish she tried. With dessert time approaching, I prepared a special treat for Mama – halo-halo, a Filipino dessert filled with colorful ingredients and sweet delights. Seeing her delight as she shared it with our daughter warmed my heart, reminding me of the joy of family and celebration.
Before bidding farewell to Vikings, we gathered around to serenade Mama with a "Happy Birthday” song while the staff presented her with a slice of cake, a sweet conclusion to our delightful celebration.
Our celebration at Vikings SM Cebu was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived until the last bite of dessert, every detail was meticulously crafted to ensure a memorable experience. We were all satisfied and happy, knowing that we had given Mama the birthday celebration she wanted.
