A Blissful Retreat: Our Family Staycation at La Joya Farm

Our recent family staycation was at La Joya Farm, located in Aloguinsan, Cebu, just a 2-hour drive from the city. The journey to the place was smooth and easy because the road was well-paved. We arrived at the destination around 11:00 in the morning, three hours earlier than the check-in time. Despite our early arrival, the staff warmly greeted us with genuine smiles and hospitality, offering us welcome drinks. Since our room was not yet ready, they kindly gave us a tour of the farm.

Our accommodations surpassed all expectations. The cozy dome tent was equipped with its own toilet and bath, a mini-fridge, and, of course, comfortable beds, ensuring a relaxing stay.

La Joya Farm offered a plethora of activities for every member of the family. From leisurely nature walks to adventurous biking on trails, there was never a dull moment. We spent our days exploring the sprawling grounds, playing in their playground and sports recreation area, watching outdoor movies, and swimming in their infinity pool.

One of the highlights of our stay was the interactive farm tour, where we got up close and personal with the resident animals. From cuddly lambs to curious chickens, each encounter filled our hearts with joy and wonder.

But perhaps the most cherished aspect of our staycation was the opportunity to reconnect as a family. Away from the distractions of everyday life, we laughed, played, and shared meaningful conversations by the glow of the evening bonfires. Our time at La Joya Farm strengthened our bonds and created memories that will last a lifetime.
