Visiting Peribeca. Mountains and Andean tradition (English/Spanish)

A loving greeting to all my Hive friends, especially to those who every week share their great rides and adventures in this beautiful community. Today I am very excited because I come to share with you a wonderful experience that I lived a few days ago traveling to the beautiful town of Peribeca. We were invited, my dear @aly.squid and I, by our dear friend Edgardo and we undertook a beautiful motorcycle trip.

Before going to Peribeca, we went to Palo Gordo, a small town in the municipality of Cardenas. There we went in search of Edgardo's aunt, whom I affectionately call aunt and with whom Aly and I get along very well. We put on our helmets and there began our incredible motorcycle ride straight to Peribeca.

The ride was amazing, exciting and fun. I loved traveling together on a motorcycle, always behind them to capture every moment of the ride on video. The mountains of the Andes, the sky getting bluer and bluer, the clouds like huge cotton balls, the different shades of green and the tiny houses in the distance, made up beautiful landscapes, so much so that neither the camera nor our pairs of eyes could take in so much beauty.

When I arrived in Peribeca, I was amazed. I hadn't visited this little town for a long time and the last time I did, it was when Venezuela was in a very difficult economic situation. Seeing again all the artisan economy active filled me with joy and excitement. Peribeca has always been a town full of Andean traditions. Its cobblestone streets, the picturesque houses and the warmth of its people made me fall in love and reminded me of my youth when I used to go with my family or friends to eat the traditional cheese cakes.

We visited the village church, indulged in exquisite sweets and enjoyed a delicious coffee in a cozy local coffee shop. It was a perfect afternoon, full of joy and unforgettable moments that we shared together. It was also very nice to share with Edgardo and Tia, since our work and rest schedules do not coincide, we rarely have the opportunity to share these beautiful moments.

As night fell, we returned to the city and decided to have dinner at one of our favorite Chinese restaurants, the Nan King restaurant. At this point we had already left Tia at home, as she does not like Chinese food. Edgardo and we enjoyed an exquisite meal and returned home more than satisfied.

De visita en Peribeca. Montañas y tradición Andina (Ingles/Español)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, especialmente a los que cada semana comparten sus grandiosos paseos y aventuras en esta hermosa comunidad. Hoy estoy muy emocionada porque vengo a compartir con ustedes una experiencia maravillosa que viví hace unos días viajando al hermoso pueblo de Peribeca. Fuimos invitadas, mi querida @aly.squid y yo, por nuestro querido amigo Edgardo y emprendimos un hermoso viaje en motocicleta.

Antes de ir a Peribeca, nos trasladamos hasta Palo Gordo, una pequeña localidad perteneciente al municipio Cárdenas. Allí fuimos a busca a la tía de Edgardo, a quien cariñosamente llamo tía y con quien Aly y yo nos llevamos muy bien. Nos pusimos nuestros cascos y allí comenzó nuestro increíble paseo en motocicleta directo a Peribeca.

El recorrido fue increíble, emocionante y divertido. Me encanto viajar juntos en moto, siempre detrás de ellos para capturar cada momento del recorrido en video. Las montañas de los andes, el cielo cada vez más azul, las nubes como enormes motas de algodón, las diferentes tonalidades del color verde y las diminutas casas a lo lejos, componían paisajes hermosos, tanto que no alcanzo la cámara ni nuestros pares de ojos para abarcar tanta belleza.

Al llegar a Peribeca, quede maravillada. Tenía mucho tiempo sin visitar este pequeñito pueblo y la última vez que lo hice, fue cuando Venezuela estaba en una situación económica bastante difícil. Pro ver nuevamente toda la economía artesanal activa me lleno de alegría y emoción. Peribeca siempre ha sido un pueblo lleno de tradiciones andinas. Sus calles empedradas, las casitas pintorescas y la calidez de su gente me enamoraron y recordaron mis tiempo de juventud cuando iba con mi familia o amigos a comer los tradicionales pastelitos de queso.

Visitamos la iglesia del pueblo, nos deleitamos con exquisitos dulces y disfrutamos de un delicioso café en una acogedora cafetería local. Fue una tarde perfecta, llena de alegría y momentos inolvidables que compartimos juntos. Además fue muy lindo compartir con Edgardo y la Tía ya que por razones de que nuestros horarios de trabajo y de descanso no coinciden, pocas veces tenemos la oportunidad de compartir estos hermosos momentos.

Al caer la noche, regresamos a la ciudad y decidimos cenar en uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos de comida china, el restaurant Nan King. En este punto ya habíamos dejado a la Tía en su casa, ya que a ella no le gusta la comida china. Edgardo y nosotras disfrutamos de una exquisita comida y regresamos a casa más que satisfechos.
