Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, me da mucha alegría estar nuevamente con ustedes en la gran tarima de Open mic. Esta ha sido una semana muy dura, hemos estado sin electricidad en mi comunidad por más de 15 horas y aunque parezca mentira el tema de la electricidad es algo que te altera la dinámica diaria. Sin embargo, como decía el gran Mario Benedetti hay que defender la alegría, así que en eso siempre estamos mi compañera y yo, tratando de que nada nos destruya el buen ánimo ni la alegría, y por supuesto pienso de inmediato en la temática de esta semana: Never Give Up.
Me identifico mucho con este tema porque en los últimos años he atravesado circunstancias bastante difíciles y aun así nunca me he dado por vencida. En el año 2016 cuando estaba viviendo una situación muy difícil y estaba mal a nivel emocional mi querida @aly.squid me dedico la canción que traje para ustedes el día de hoy. Se trata de “Palabras para julia” esta canción es realmente un poema que fue escrito por el poeta español José Agustín Goytisolo, ha tenido muchas versiones musicales, pero mi favorita es la de Liliana Herrero, que la conocí en la película argentina KAMCHATKA.
Para mí esta canción es como una carta desesperada a una persona amada que está a punto darse por vencida, es una invitación amorosa a resistir, es un salvavidas en el mar abierto. Y ¿Quién no ha pasado por esto? Ya sea de un lado o del otro de la carta, todos lo hemos vivido. Así que esta humilde versión a capela que les comparto hoy, es un mensaje para todas esas personas que no la están pasando tan bien, que están saliendo de días oscuros o les han robado el sentido de su vida.

A loving greeting to all my friends of Hive, it gives me great joy to be with you again on the big stage of Open mic. This has been a very hard week, we have been without electricity in my community for more than 15 hours and believe it or not the issue of electricity is something that alters the daily dynamics. However, as the great Mario Benedetti used to say, we have to defend joy, so that is what my partner and I are always doing, trying to make sure that nothing destroys our good spirits and joy, and of course I immediately think of this week's theme: Never Give Up.
I identify a lot with this theme because in recent years I have gone through some pretty difficult circumstances and yet I have never given up. In 2016 when I was living a very difficult situation and I was emotionally bad my dear @aly.squid dedicated me the song that I brought for you today. It is "Palabras para julia" this song is really a poem that was written by the Spanish poet José Agustín Goytisolo, it has had many musical versions, but my favorite is the one by Liliana Herrero, who I met in the Argentine movie KAMCHATKA.
For me this song is like a desperate letter to a loved one who is about to give up, it is a loving invitation to resist, it is a life preserver in the open sea. And who hasn't been through this? Whether on one side of the card or the other, we've all been there. So this humble a cappella version that I share with you today, is a message to all those people who are not having such a good time, who are coming out of dark days or have been robbed of the meaning of their life.
