Hotel Ilunion Golf Badajoz in Spain [Eng-Esp]

Hello friends of Hive's Architecture + Design Community! It is a pleasure for me to greet you after some time of absence. This year life has given me the opportunity to meet beautiful buildings in my country and a couple of sister countries to which I had the opportunity to travel. In this opportunity I want to share with you what was my home when I visited Badajoz in Spain, and I am referring to the Ilunion Hotel. I toured several cities, but of all the hotels I visited, this was undoubtedly the most beautiful and pleasant place to spend a season.

¡Hola amigos de la Comunidad de Architecture + Desing de Hive!. Es grato para mí saludarlos luego de un tiempo de ausencia. Este año la vida me ha regalado la oportunidad de conocer edificaciones hermosas en mi país y un par de países hermanos a los que tuve la oportunidad de viajar. En esta oportunidad quiero compartirles lo que fue mi hogar cuando visité Badajoz en España, y me refiero al Hotel Ilunion. Estuve de gira por varias ciudades, pero de todos los hoteles que conocí, sin duda alguna este fue el más hermoso y placentero para pasar una temporada.

I have to admit that Ilunion Hotels is a bit removed from the center of the city, but that is precisely the great secret of being a spectacular place to rest and away from it all. Its architecture is modern, with a main lobby and two large buildings on the sides, separated by a pool overlooking the green areas of a golf course. The predominant colors are Vinotinto and white. I knew that the place was spectacular and that I had the joy of knowing a wonderful place, but when I saw the view from my room I was in love.

Tengo que aceptar que Ilunion Hotels queda un poco retirado del centro de la ciudad, pero precisamente ese es el gran secreto de ser un lugar espectacular de descanso y alejado de todo. Su arquitectura es moderna, con un lobby principal y dos grandes edificios a los costados, separados por una piscina con vista hacia las áreas verdes de un campo de golf. Los colores que predominan son el Vinotinto y el blanco. Sabía que el lugar era espectacular y que yo tenía la dicha de conocer un lugar maravilloso, pero cuando vi la vista desde mi habitación quedé enamorado.

The View from my Room:

The pool was shaped like a mushroom and from my room on the eighth floor I could see and photograph it in all its splendor. In fact the guys in my musical group filled all the rooms of the hotel and we could not use the pool area, that same afternoon we would have a concert, in fact in this city was our first official presentation in Spain and we had to take care of ourselves, but we still enjoyed the elegance of this four star hotel. I particularly visited the lounge areas to chat after the concert with my closest friends and the dining room had the same elegance as the sofas in the lobby and hallways.

La piscina tenía forma de hongo y desde mi habitación en el piso ocho se podía ver y fotografiar en todo su esplendor. De hecho los chicos de mi agrupación musical llenamos todas las habitaciones del hotel y no pudimos hacer uso del área de piscina, esa misma tarde tendríamos concierto, de hecho en esta ciudad fue nuestra primera presentación oficial en España y teníamos que cuidarnos, pero igual disfrutamos de la elegancia de este hotel de cuatro estrellas. Particularmente visité las áreas de descanso para conversar luego del concierto con mis amigos más cercanos y el comedor tenía la misma elegancia que los sofás del lobby y los pasillos.

I did not come across many works of art in their facilities, there were few paintings that could be seen, but they did have beautiful mirrors in every corner of the hotel, accompanied by flowers and water with a touch of ginger on each floor. There was only one detail that I did not like in the hotel, and that was that the air conditioning was not working, only the heating, however it was my first time in Europe and knowing the beginning of spring, unlike my country there this issue works differently, but everything was solved by opening the windows and letting the breeze blowing and running through the room.

No me topé con muchas obras de arte en sus instalaciones, eran pocas las pinturas que se podían apreciar, pero sí tenían hermosos espejos en cada rincón del hotel, acompañado de flores y agua con un toque de jengibre en cada piso. Solo hubo un detalle que no me gustó en el hotel, y es que no tenía en funcionamiento el aire acondicionado, solo la calefacción, sin embargo era mi primera vez en Europa y conociendo el inicio de la primavera, a diferencia de mi país allá este tema funciona distinto, pero todo se resolvió abriendo las ventanas y dejando que la brisa soplara y recorriera la habitación.

Without a doubt I recommend this hotel to everyone who reads me, and not only if you are going to visit Badajoz, but also its other branches in Madrid, Valencia and other places in this beautiful country. It is totally modern and its parking lot is spacious and with lots of vegetation. Every corner of Iluinion Hotels is perfect to take a good picture and its architecture stands out for its modern elegance, even the light beacons are beautiful and very nice regarding the design of the whole building and even managed to combine with the rest of the urbanization where white, red wine and earth colors also stand out. Architectural art for lovers of modernity...

Sin duda alguna recomiendo este hotel a todos los que me leen, y no solo si van a visitar Badajoz, sino sus otras sucursales en Madrid, Valencia y otros lugares de este hermoso país. Es totalmente moderno y su estacionamiento amplio y con mucha vegetación. Cada rincón de Iluinion Hotels es perfecto para tomar una buena fotografía y su arquitectura destaca por su elegancia moderna, hasta los faros de luz son preciosos y muy agradable respecto al diseño de toda la edificación e incluso, lograron combinar con el resto de la urbanización donde también destacan los colores blancos, vino tinto y tierra. Arte arquitectónico para los amantes de la modernidad...

I hope to be lucky enough to return to this corner of the world and enjoy a little more of its modern architecture and magical mushroom-shaped pool, but if not, it is a place that will always remain in my mind and in these photographs as one of the most attractive and peaceful hotels that is known, away from annoying noise and in a VIP area to unwind from the day to day; I hope you also liked it, Happy weekend to all!...

Espero tener la suerte de volver a este rincón en el mundo y disfrutar un poco más de su arquitectura moderna y de la mágica piscina en forma de hongo, pero de no ser así, es un lugar que siempre quedará en mi mente y en estas fotografías como uno de los hoteles más atractivos y llenos de paz que es conocido, alejado de ruidos molestos y en una zona VIP para despejarse del día a día; espero que a ustedes también les haya gustado, ¡Feliz fin de semana para todos!...
