I Might Go Nude! Here's Why...

With naturism and nudist activities, I am quite open and don't reject any such options. This is why some people enjoy going around the house naked – it feels freeing, it's comfy and you get used to accepting your body.

Although I have not done nudism myself, I am not against it. Maybe I could try a nude beach or nudist resort but only if I had trusted friends who also wanted to try such things. It would be good for both sides to set clear rules and limits so people's dignity would not be hurt.

As for me, I think that if I were to ever try social nudity, my reasons would be curiosity and personal challenge. That would be far from my comfort zone, so going that far would prove to myself that I am willing to try new things. It may feel weird at first, but as with all things, that feeling doesn't last. I would think that by going nudist, I would be learning ways of being more confident and accepting myself.

But I would have some worries to solve before that (of course, before I started undressing). When it comes to how others act, staring or flirting with me would make me uncomfortable. But from what I know, there is no hint of any sexual or bad activities allowed in nudist areas. Many people there just want to have fun without clothes, not find a date. I believe that, if the mood was friendly, and all the jokes were kind, then I would be fine.

My other worry would be seeing people I know since chances of doing so are high if I go to such places often. I'm not ready to be known as a recreational nudist yet. However, I can probably go to a more private nudist place or just avoid spots where I might see people I know. A nude beach far from home could be less embarrassing than one nearby.

Nudism interests me, but I don't need to do it. But part of me doesn't like saying no to something without trying it first. Maybe I can try nude swimming with friends we're comfy with and do it in a safe place. Perhaps, just trying it once could satisfy my curiosity for a while. And if everyone was like 'yeah, let's do it,' maybe we would try a real nudist resort sometime later.

I also don't mind trying a naked yoga class or a nude drawing session among other social activities. The focus there is often more on the art than being "lifestyled" as such. However, it could be another small step in people getting used to social nudity and being comfy taking off their clothes in such a setting.

As a personal point of view I do not care what they want to wear or do not want to wear during their free time providing they are thoughtful of themselves and others and the company they represent In my opinion Naturism or sometimes referred to as Nudism is not for everybody. However, for those who are oriented just by an aesthetic view, the naked human body requires no sexualization at all, it is merely naked. It may only be the state through which one can look and feel their best, with no social expectations or restraints to worry about.

That means I don't usually joke about things unless I've tried them, so I won't judge nudism yet. Being naked for physical activities is not on my wish list as most people would say. However, if the people and place are right, I wouldn't mind getting naked. At the very least, places which may open for nudists should know that naturism as an activity has value for those who do it properly and without offending other people.

Once it was in a gathering of friends and everybody are okay with it, is fine, yes, we do not have to judge something we haven't tried ourselves, in life, every daily activities we do, is a choice.

I have found nudist areas to be the safest and most comfortable places in terms of (NOT!) being looked at. Because nobody likes to be sexualized or their physical features evaluated by others, and since nudist areas are an exception from the norm, the people there make really sure not to allow it to happen. Unlike at regular clothed beaches, where being stared at up and down is actually the norm.

When I invited my Colombian friend to the sauna in Germany, she had obvious concerns about being naked in front of strangers. I told her, that nobody would let their eyes linger on you, just like you wouldn't stare at someone who only had one leg. Incidentally, right on that day a one-legged man came in, and just as you would expect, everyone showed basic common courtesy. In the end my friend said that she felt more relaxed and safe than if she had been wearing a bathing suit.

Was that little Nathan? Hehehe 😀
I also would feel uncomfortable trying nudism in social settings but could make me feel calm and less worried if done among other people who feel good about it. I love freeing my body in my room as I walk around freely and appreciating my body.

I don't like undress myself publicly, let alone to take all of my cloths. But I consider thin 'me problem'. I don't mind people spending their time in the way they like. I seem to be cool idea for people that are comfortable with their own body. Maybe one day I will find myself in this circle of people?

Interesting take on the topic, nice read:)
