The power of talking things through - My 5 minutes a day #35
Fixing things by talking
Shoutout to 0-0-0-0 and Pixabay.com
Things can be fixed in two ways: With actions and with words. Today, I chose the latter. As I was assigned another task for my University, I was wondering all over the place how I would make a circuit work, but luckily, there was a talk with the professor scheduled.
When the time came, I began to ask things about the assignment to my professor, and It turned out, It wasn't hard at all. It turns out that It's as easy as simulating in two different environments.
I tend to overthink and make things a bigger burden than what they really are, so It is kinda refreshing getting a situation fixed by just talking, instead of using action.
However, that doesn't mean that I have to step off the gas. I just have a new focus and feedback for my ideas, a framework that will guide me to a better solution.
Whenever you encounter a problem, task, or predicament that you don't understand, the best choice might be to talk to others until you figure out a path of action. However, this doesn't mean that you should avoid acting, as It is the only thing that'll push you forward.
