A distraction:Modifications on my back door tent
Being stalled in my life, sick of not having a place to sit outside when I want, I decided to try and use some of the left over vinyl siding pieces, primarily outside corners to try and make the tent the full size it was supposed to be
I got this much done yesterday by myself, but it was miserable having only 2 hands and my ladder too large, and rickety so...
I contacted my nextdoor neighbor who agreed to help.
Then I went and got a badly needed wide step ladder
This morning Albert came over, and honestly he did most of the work, he's taller and younger than me.
That unsupported back length I plan to use a board and screw it to the house, that will make it nearly impossible to blow away or collapse
↓This is basically the finished project. Albert bless his heard, even moved those huge stones for me, and the leftover capstones for the back legs. The tent had to be higher for it to really work.
Now my problem is that my water feature thingy is breeding mosquitoes, A LOT.
I would just add chlorine to it, but His Majesty Crown Prince Tommy of Assholia (my adult cat) likes to drink from it.
I would have thought water being pumped thru constantly would have kept that breeding from happening.
Anyone know of something I can add to the water that will stop the skeeters but not harm my babies?

Even before I see that you work very hard, every person should work hard to make his house beautiful in the same way.
