A Taste of Elegance: Our Newtown Bistro Experience with Baby Ethan
Last week, I had to travel to Butuan City for my Civil Service Appointment. Hannah, my brother, and his girlfriend Kerstine came with me, and of course, Baby Ethan was present. We decided to make the most of our trip and explore the city, and that's how we stumbled upon the Newtown Bistro.
The Newtown Bistro is one of the most expensive restaurants in Butuan City, known for its exquisite cuisine and luxurious atmosphere. We were curious about what the hype was all about, and decided to dine there for a special double date. Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately impressed by the elegant decor and the welcoming ambiance. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall positive vibe of the place.
As we sat down, we were presented with the menu, which was quite extensive. It had a wide variety of options, ranging from local delicacies to international favorites. We were surprised to find that the food was indeed expensive, but we decided to splurge and order some of the best dishes they had to offer.
We started with the mushroom soup, which had a rich and creamy texture that was perfect for a cold evening. Next, we tried the calamares, which were crispy and perfectly seasoned, paired with a tangy and flavorful dip.
For our main course, we ordered their best-seller, Buttered chicken, which was served with fragrant rice and a side of vegetables. The chicken was cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and a tender and juicy interior. It was one of the best buttered chicken dishes we have ever tasted.
We also ordered the baby back ribs, which were slow-cooked to perfection and smothered in a rich and flavorful sauce. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, and we couldn't resist licking our fingers clean. Along with the ribs, we also ordered a creamy mashed potato with clams, which was a delicious and unique twist to a classic side dish.
To top it off, we ordered one of the best pizzas we have ever tasted. The crust was thin and crispy, and the toppings were generous and perfectly balanced. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, and we couldn't help but order another one to take home with us.
We were impressed by the restaurant's elegant and sophisticated ambiance. The interiors were beautifully designed, and the lighting was dim, setting the perfect mood for a romantic dinner. We were immediately greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our table. The place was relatively quiet, with soft background music playing, making it perfect for intimate conversations.
As we enjoyed our meal, we also checked out the drinks menu and found out that the restaurant offered a luxury drink that cost $5,000 per bottle. We were amazed by the price tag, but of course we didn't order it because we can't afford it.
Despite the high prices, the service was impeccable, and the staff were very attentive to our needs. They even made an effort to entertain Baby Ethan, who was fascinated by the beautiful chandeliers and the decorations around the restaurant. The staff played with baby Ethan while we were eating, which he enjoyed thoroughly.
Overall, our experience at Newtown Bistro was unforgettable. The food was delicious, the ambiance was perfect, and the service was top-notch. However, it was also one of the most expensive restaurants we have ever been to, and it made us think twice about splurging so much on a single meal. Nevertheless, we were happy to have tried it out and created some beautiful memories with our loved ones.
If you're looking for an elegant and sophisticated restaurant in Butuan City, Newtown Bistro is an excellent choice. It may be expensive, but the food and the experience are worth every penny. Just make sure to bring enough money and a hefty appetite!
