Teriyaki Steak Grinder from Sonny’s Asian Grinders & More - Southbury, Connecticut

Recently I stopped by Sonny's Asian Grinders & More for lunch. It's a little shop in Southbury, Connecticut serving up Vietnamese style sandwiches, fried rice bowls and other delicious items. They also operate a food truck, but I stopped by their brick and mortar establishment. I ordered the Teriyaki Steak Grinder as seen in the photo above. It's served with cucumber, cilantro, pickled carrots, pickled onions, spicy mayo and avocado sauce. The grinder roll was nice and crisp, which made a good vehicle for the steak. Overall, it was a top notch sandwich, as you can probably tell by the photo.
