Este fin de semana fue uno bastante movido porque ya estamos comenzando a ver los partidos de pretemporada en europa y es que las ligas más importantes dan sus pitazos iniciales en breve, más específicamente la semana que viene. Como viene siendo costumbre de hace un par de años para acá el Real Madrid y el Barcelona se han enfrentado en tierras estadounidenses por un tema meramente de espectáculo y económico, a nosotros eso nos da igual contal de ver un partido de estos. El sábado y después de estar amenazado de suspensión por una tormenta se dio este enfrentamiento en New Jersey, un juego que no vería, en su mayoría, a las grandes figuras de cada equipo por estar de vacaciones aún.

Del lado culé la situación es distinta. Creo que tienen mejor recambio que los merengues, todos los jugadores de la Masía son extraordinarios, hay mucho futuro allí. Jugadores como Pau Victor, Marc Bernal y Alex Valle tienen muchas cosas interesantes. De hecho el primero de estos hizo el doblete y porque no, pelearle el puesto a Lewandowski. Creo que con la llegada de Hansi Flick este Barcelona puede tener otra cara, jugó mejor que el Madrid, tuvo buenas posesiones, manejó mejor el balón, remataron más al arco; creo que las sensaciones fueron mejores. Se entiende que todo es cuestión de perspectiva porque lo que hizo Nadal (también campeón olímpico) o Federer tampoco fueron pocas cosas los números del serbio son una absoluta barbaridad. Obviamente ganador del Grand Slam y es el que más veces lo ha conseguido, ganador de Copa Davis, más semanas como siendo el número 1 y además el más veterano en estar en ese ranking, creo que tiene 40 Masters 1000, es decir, son logros que difícilmente se verán de nuevo.

Ayer vimos una versión más agresiva y contundente de Novak, con una mentalidad más fría y calculadora, es verdad que él es muy volátil y así lo demostró en estos juegos olímpicos pero ayer supo manejar esas emociones y sacar su mejor versión con 37 años de edad. Un gusto poder ver y disfrutar de estos jugadores y ahora leyendas.

Fue un encuentro de nombre de equipos sin presencia de los que seran los titulares. Pero solo con ver esas camisetas en el terreno de este estadio es un verdadero espectáculo
