Habiendo terminado los dos torneos de fútbol que paralizaron al mundo durante casi un mes queda ahora una gran y extensa discusión en el aire durante los próximos 3 meses y es definir quién será el ganador del Balón de Oro, ceremonia que se llevará a cabo el 28 de octubre en París. Habiendo ganado Argentina la Copa América no cambia mucho los candidatos por que no hay argentinos elegibles claros (Lautaro Martínez podría ser uno), así lo creo yo, para llevarse este galardón pero al haber hecho lo propio España con la Eurocopa si varía un poco el panorama. ¿Por qué? - pues porque habría que agregar dos serios candidatos los cuales tienen todo para ganar: Rodri y Dani Carvajal.

Pero aquí hay una diferencia con Rodri y es que Dani Carvajal si fue pieza fundamental para el triunfo de España y del Madrid en Champions al punto que hasta un gol en aquella final hizo. Creo que Dani es de los mejores laterales derechos del mundo, cuidado sino el mejor así que entonces, ¿sería una locura que el español se lo lleve?. Siempre he pensado que además de los méritos futbolísticos detrás de todo esto hay cierto marketing, ver quien conviene que se lo lleve por un tema de imagen. ¿Un lateral daría portadas? - un central ya lo ganó, Fabio Cannavaro en el 2006.

Lo de los premios muchas veces se da más por Marketing que por otra cosa. Para mí quien debe ganarlo es Vinicius.
Hay varios elementos que lo sustentan y una competición no puede ser medidor porque, a mi juicio, dónde participaron todos los candidatos (Champions) quien fue el mejor jugador?
Quién fue el mejor jugador de su liga?
Es cierto que Vinicius no tuvo la madurez para ser el líder que necesitaba Brasil, pero, es cierto que cuando jugó contra Paraguay anotó dos goles.
Veremos qué sucede, pero de estos premios me he llevado varias sorpresas.
Alguien recuerda quién ganó el Balón de oro de 2010?
Por qué no lo ganó Andrés Iniesta que ganó todo lo que ganó Messi, pero, además, fue campeón del mundo y anotó el gol de la final?

Es lo que pienso.

Muy valiosa su opinión, amigo!

Recuerdo perfectamente aquel Balón de Oro del 2010 e igualmente me cuestioné bastante esa decisión. Como ud dice TODO es Marketing, todo se mueve por el dinero que pueda generar una decisión. Aunque quiero que gane Carvajal o en su defecto Rodri creo que al final se lo va a llevar Vinicius por todas las cosas que mencionas, aunque para mi y a pesar de eso, no tiene tanto meritos como el lateral derecho. Pero bueno, veremos.
