The Iberians were expected because France did not go to the European Championship, the level of the French was low, very mediocre to have the names they have in their squad. In America the prognosis is a bit more reserved. Los que hablan de favoritismos solo lo hacen para poner excusas, México no se clasificó pese a no tener en su grupo a ninguna de las selecciones más importantes de América, Chile, por antecedentes debió haber pasado, pero no ganó ninguno de los 3 partidos de fase de grupos. Colombia tuvo solo un escollo, el peor Brasil de los últimos años, el resto de su grupo y los 1/4 de final enfrentaron a equipos inferiores al menos en los papeles. Brasil por su parte se quejó de tener que enfrentar a Uruguay en 1/4 de final, cosa que no hubiera ocurrido de haber hecho los deberes. Todos han tenido oportunidades y algunos no las supieron aprovechar, pero es más fácil decir a este lo favorecieron que aceptar que jugaron mal y quedaron en el camino.
Totalmente de acuerdo. De hecho no me monto en esa teoría precisamente por eso, cada quien rema para su lado a conveniencia. Es un tema de saber aceptar las derrotas y ya está. En los papeles iniciales Chile y Perú pintaban para ser rivales dignos, el tema es lo que ud dice, el presente de esas selecciones no es el mejor que digamos. Al final esto del fútbol desata pasiones desacerbadas estimado por lo que las personas tienden a ser más viscerales.
