(ESP-ENG) New and high quality music!
Hello friends, good vibes to all.
Music, that art that moves us, that enters through the ears and goes straight to the heart, is constantly being renewed. Every first day of the month I come here to bring some of the songs that I liked the most and that obviously saw the light a short time ago. I have always said it, but I am a person who listens to music every day of my life, either to work, while I write these lines, to exercise and even to sleep, if necessary. That's why I'm always on the lookout for everything new that is coming out day after day to always be connected with the new sounds. So these are some of those tracks that have caught my attention and therefore are what I've been listening to the most lately.
- Miley Cyrus - Used To Be Young
Miley Cyrus is easily one of the top artists of the moment and I say this basically because of the quality of her voice, to understand this you have to pay close attention to the way she sings and performs her latest songs. This song, which translated into Spanish is something like "I used to be young", clearly has a lot of personal and introspective touches to the point that you can notice it in the video itself and is that she is moved as she is shooting the lyrics. But what is it telling us? - I perceive the song as an understanding or even as an examination of conscience that things will inevitably no longer be like before as the years go by, the past leaves us experiences, makes us more mature, but it is just that, the past and as such should be left behind. It goes a bit like a complaint from someone to her, that time has changed her and yes, time changes us all, we are not the same person we were 15 or 20 years ago and that is something that many people don't understand, many remain stagnant. The song is amazing because I feel like it's very personal to her and it's one that a lot of people can empathize with as well. The latter is interesting because I've noticed that Miley's recent tracks are very referential to her and that's cool. Go listen to it, it's worth it.
- Måneskin - HONEY (ARE U COMING?)
The Måneskin thing is quite interesting the truth because we are facing a band that has not even a decade of created, they were born in 2016, at the beginning it may have cost them a little to emerge but thanks to social networks that success came a few years later when one of their songs, Beggin', reached some numbers and a very large popularity. They also represented Italy in Eurovision, which gives us a context that they are really good at what they do. This new song is a bit in the same line that we have seen in their last songs, they call themselves as rock but for me it is not something so pure, I see them more with a very well achieved alternative rock. Something that stands out is Damiano's voice, it is one that can sound very guttural but at the same time very soft and melodic and I think that in this song we can notice it a little bit. "Honey" is an invitation to a person to go spend the night in a place where they can be carefree and see what love is really like. Something I like is the change in the voice that goes from the verses to the chorus, it is impressive how the interpretation changes achieving that duality of which I spoke. Måneskin for me at the time was a revelation to become a reality, it is a good band and very faithful to their style, if you have not heard them I think you should listen to a couple of their songs.
- My Sails Are Set (feat. AURORA) | One Piece
This is a very pleasant surprise. Who around here is watching the One Piece Live Action? - Well, the thing is that one of its soundtracks is a marvel. I don't know why but I'm a person who pays a lot of attention to the music of movies and series, believe it or not, real gems can come out of that world and this theme performed by Aurora, a Norwegian singer, is the confirmation of that. The incredible thing about this song is how harmonic it is, the melody is one that invites you to listen to it over and over again, it is very contagious because of how beautiful it is. Besides the fact that it has a very grandiose vibe, very epic, very heroic, one of those that tell stories where great deeds are described, that really infects you. It talks about the difficulties that may appear along the way but no matter what, you have to keep your mind and eyes on the goal, have the determination to move forward without being consumed by fear. When I started watching the series one of the first things I did was to look for this theme, that's the effect it has. In part this is all thanks to the angelic and forceful voice of the Norwegian, I think the ideal description is that it is a song that moves and at the same time invites you to want to do things, I feel it is able to change the mood quickly. Do yourselves a favor and listen to it because it is very, very cool.
¡Un abrazo a todos, nos escuchamos en la próxima!
