One more week I am with you all to present you another Splinterlands Weekly Challenge. This time we will talk about the Up to Eleven battle condition. One of the last ones that have appeared in the game.

Una semana más estoy con todos vosotros para presentaros otro Desafío Semanal de Splinterlands. En esta ocasión hablaremos de la condición de batalla Up to Eleven. Una de las últimas que han aparecido en el juego.

As usual I will start by analyzing the battle condition to then see some tips on how to take advantage of this condition. Finally I will share with you all one of my fights with this condition.

Como es habitual empezaré analizando la condición de batalla para seguidamente ver unos consejos de como sacar partido a esta condición. Para finalizar compartiré con todos vosotros uno de mis combates con esta condición.

Let's start by talking about what the Up to Eleven condition consists of.

What is the "UP TO ELEVEN" condition?

When this condition is active all creatures have the Amplify ability, increasing the damage of Magic Reflect, Return Fire and Thorns by 1.

Cuando esta condición está activa todas las criaturas tienen la habilidad Amplify, aumentando en 1 el daño de Magic Reflect, Return Fire y Thorns.

How to get advantage

By following these simple tips, you are sure to obtain very good results in this type of combat:

• First of all, to be able to use this battle condition it is essential to have cards with the Magic Reflect, Return Fire and Thorns abilities.
• Another important point is that it is not necessary to use cards with the previously described abilities just because this ability is active. In many occasions using our combat strategy is the best option.
• Among all the creatures that I usually use with abilities that boost Up to Eleven, these are my favorites: Pelacor Conjurer, Cursed Windeku, Djinn Chwala.
• There are summoners that are highly recommended to use together with Up to Eleven. If we have that option better use Owster Rotwell, Mylor Crowling or Ilthain.
• Another good summoner that I use very often is Grandmaster Rathe, he offers us a shield that comes in handy against the damage received by Thorns and Void Armor if they attack us with magic.
• Don't go crazy thinking that our enemy will use many cards with Magic Reflect, Return Fire and Thorns abilities, my experience has shown me that in many occasions they don't use cards with these abilities.

Cómo obtener ventaja

Siguiendo éstos simples consejos, de seguro que obtendréis muy buenos resultados en este tipo de combates:

• En primer lugar para poder hacer uso de esta condición de batalla es fundamental tener cartas con las habilidades Magic Reflect, Return Fire y Thorns.
• Otro punto importante es no por tener esta habilidad activa es necesario usar cartas con las habilidades anteriormente descriptas. En muchas ocasiones utilizar nuestra estrategia de combate es la mejor opción.
• De entre todas las criaturas que suelo usar con habilidades que potencian Up to Eleven, estas son mis favoritas: Pelacor Conjurer, Cursed Windeku, Djinn Chwala.
• Existen invocadores que son muy recomendados usar junto con Up to Eleven. Si contamos con esa opción mejor usar a Owster Rotwell, Mylor Crowling o Ilthain.
• Otro buen invocador que suelo usar muy a menudo es Grandmaster Rathe, nos ofrece escudo que viene bien contra el daño recibido por Thorns y Void Armor si nos atacan con magia.
• No nos volvamos locos pensando que nuestro enemigo usará muchas cartas con las habilidades Magic Reflect, Return Fire y Thorns, mi experiencia me ha demostrado que en muchas ocasiones no suelen usar cartas con estas habilidades.

A Battle with "UP TO ELEVEN" condition

I often use Xbot's practice bots to test my combat strategies and try out new gameplay options. The combat I share below is one of them, a way to learn how to play as we are challenged to face opponents with exceptional cards and defeat the bot.

Muchas veces utilizo los bots de prácticas de Xbot para poner a prueba mis estrategias de combate y probar nuevas opciones de juego. El combate a continuación comparto es uno de ellos, una forma de aprender a jugar ya que tenemos el desafío de enfrentarnos contra rivales con cartas excepcionales y derrotar al bot.

0		I love playing with Grandmaster Rathe, it fits perfectly with the collection of cards I have to boost them. Me encanta jugar con Grandmaster Rathe, se adapta perfectamente a la colección de cartas que tengo para potenciarlas.
1		Undoubtedly one of the best cards in the game, undisputed in my games with the Life element. Sin duda una de las mejores cartas del juego, indiscutible en mis partidas con el elemento Vida.
2		Djinn Renova is another card that at high levels is amazing with its powerful magic attack and abilities. Djinn Renova es otra carta que ha niveles altos es increíble con su potente ataque mágico y sus habilidades.
3		Time Mage is also always a good choice, it slows down enemy creatures, reduces their shield and is also very fast and has a powerful magic attack. Time Mage también es siempre una buena opción, ralentiza las criaturas enemigas, reduce su escudo y además es muy rápida y tiene un potente ataque mágico.
4		Adelade Brightwing is the perfect card to use with my summoner, they complement each other perfectly. Adelade Brightwing es la carta perfecta para usar con mi invocador, se complementan a la perfección.
5		Peacebringer has no skills but has a powerful ranged attack. Peacebringer no posee habilidades pero tiene un potente ataque a distancia.
6		Finally Venari Crystalsmith who will heal my first creature. Por último Venari Crystalsmith que curará a mi primera criatura.

Round 1

My opponent plays Katrelba Gobson as a base in his strategy, boosting his attacks with Thane Newsong and using Fungus Flinger and Venari Marksrat to summon Bloodlust when they die.
In the first turn I manage to destroy Terraceous Grunt with very powerful hits, and I also heal and repair Pelacor Conjurer's shield.

Mi rival juega usará a Katrelba Gobson como base en su estrategia, potenciando sus ataques con Thane Newsong y usando a Fungus Flinger y Venari Marksrat para invocar Bloodlust cuando mueran.
En el primer turno consigo destruir a Terraceous Grunt con golpes muy potentes, además voy curando y reparando el escudo de Pelacor Conjurer.

Round 2

The second turn I end up with Thane Newsong so my opponent's melee attacks drop 1 point in power. The attacks made by Katrelba Gobson are countered with Triage from Djinn Renova.

El segundo turno acabo con Thane Newsong con lo que los ataques cuerpo a cuerpo de mi rival bajan 1 punto su poder. Los ataques que hace Katrelba Gobson son contrarrestados con Triage de Djinn Renova.

Round 3

On the third turn Katrelba Gobson eliminates Pelacor Conjurer but he is quickly resurrected by Adelade Brightwing and in the end I end up eliminating her along with Venari Marksrat.

En el tercer turno Katrelba Gobson elimina a Pelacor Conjurer pero rápidamente es resucitado por Adelade Brightwing y al final yo termino eliminándola junto con Venari Marksrat.

Round 4

Finally on the fourth turn, although my opponent uses Venari Knifer who has Thorns, I don't use melee attack creatures so I avoid falling into his strategy and quickly destroy the card with magic and ranged attacks.

Finalmente en el cuarto turno aunque mi rival utiliza a Venari Knifer que tiene Thorns, yo no uso criaturas de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo con lo evito caer en su estrategia y destruyo rápidamente la carta con ataques mágicos y a distancia.

My opinion

On this occasion I was barely able to see the effects of Up to Eleven since even though I had a card specially placed to use along with this condition my enemy did not get to use magic attack cards. The same happened with his card with Thorns that we couldn't see its effects along with Up to Eleven since I didn't have melee attack cards.

En esta ocasión apenas no he podido ver los efectos de Up to Eleven ya que aunque tenía una carta especialmente colocada para usar junto con esta condición mi enemigo no llegó a usar cartas de ataque mágico. Lo mismo sucedió con su carta con Thorns que no pudimos ver sus efectos junto con Up to Eleven ya que yo no tenía cartas de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo.
