Hello Splinterlands friends, one more week I'm with you all to talk about the new Splinterlands challenge. This time we are going to analyze the Back to Basics battle condition.

En el post de hoy veremos en que consiste está básica condición y las mejores opciones que tenemos a la hora de elegir cartas cuando la tenemos en juego. Finalmente compartiré con todos vosotros un combate en el que ver algunos consejos.

What is the "BACK TO BASIC" condition?

When this condition is active all creatures lose their abilities.

Cuando esta condición está activa todas las criaturas pierden sus habilidades.

How to get advantage

Let's look at several tips that I find very useful in this condition:

• Melee attack monsters lose a lot of prominence in this condition that can only hit the one that is in first position.
• We must give priority to use ranged and magical monsters with the highest attack power and resistance possible.
• It is important to use summoners that boost our attacks or reduce this type of attacks. Thaddius Brood or Quix the Deviuos are good options.
• It is also important that they have good speed to attack before the opponent.

Cómo obtener ventaja

Veamos varios consejos que me resultan muy útiles ante esta condición:

• Los monstruos de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo pierden mucho protagonismo ante esta condición que únicamente podrá golpear el que se encuentre en primera posición.
• Debemos dar prioridad a usar monstruos de ataques a distancia y mágicos con el mayor poder de ataque y resistencia posible.
• Es importante hacer uso de invocadores que potencien nuestros ataques o reduzcan éste tipo de ataques. Thaddius Brood o Quix the Deviuos son buenas opciones.
• También es importante que tengan buena velocidad para atacar antes que el rival.

A Battle with "BACK TO BASIC" condition

Mana Cap: 21 # Rules: Back to Basics - Explosive Weapondry - Close Range

In the following combat that I am going to share with you, in addition to the battle condition Back to Basics, there is also Explosive Weapondry and the mana we can use is very low. We have the option of using few but powerful cards or many cards with low mana cost. This is the option I always prefer to use.

En el siguiente combate que voy a compartiros se da la circunstancia que además de la condición de batalla Back to Basics, también está Explosive Weapondry y el maná que podemos usar es muy bajo. Tenemos la opción de usar pocas cartas pero poderosas o muchas cartas de bajo coste de maná. Ésta es la opción que siempre prefiero usar.

0		I have decided to use Quix the Devious because I think my enemy will play ranged attack cards. He decidido usar a Quix the Devious porque pienso que mi enemigo jugará cartas de ataque a distancia.
1		My tank of choice is Pelacor Deceiver for its low attack mana and vitality cost. Mi tanque elegido es Pelacor Deceiver por si bajo coste de maná ataque y vitalidad.
2		Second position for Wily Coyotian of only 2 mana points to receive the impacts of Blast. Segunda posición para Wily Coyotian de tan solo 2 puntos de maná para recibir los impactos de Blast.
3		In third position it is time to play Life Sapper, also a card with low mana cost and a powerful magic attack. En tercera posición es turno de jugar con Life Sapper, también carta de bajo coste de maná y un potente ataque mágico.

Round 1

My opponent plays with the Water element and with Kelya Frendul as a summoner, he gives priority to speed and defense. The monsters start to hit and we see how I start to eliminate their first creatures thanks to the powerful attacks of my little monsters. I manage to destroy **Pelacor Bandit, Hardy Stonefish and Torrent Fiend, although Pelacor Bandit and Wily Coyotian are badly damaged.

Mi rival juega con el elemento Agua y con Kelya Frendul como invocador, da prioridad a la velocidad y defensa. Los monstruos comienzan a golpear y vemos como empiezo a eliminar a sus primeras criaturas gracias a los potentes ataques de mis pequeños monstruos. Consigo destruir a **Pelacor Bandit, Hardy Stonefish y Torrent Fiend, aunque Pelacor Bandit y Wily Coyotian quedan muy dañados.

Round 2

On the second turn the hits continue to pepper the battlefield. I end up destroying Djinn Oshannus his most powerful card although I lose Pelacor Bandit and Wily Coyotian in the attempt. The enemy has only 2 cards left compared to the 4 I have.

En el segundo turno los golpes siguen salpicando el campo de batalla. Termino por destruir a Djinn Oshannus su carta más poderosa aunque pierdo a Pelacor Bandit y Wily Coyotian en el intento. Únicamente le quedan al enemigo 2 cartas frente a las 4 que tengo yo.

Round 3

At the beginning of the third turn I destroy Angelic Mandarin and several hits later Igor Darkspear. A perfect fight on my part.

Al inicio del tercer turno destruyo a Angelic Mandarin y varios golpes después a Igor Darkspear. Un combate perfecto por mi parte.

My opinion

Before the battle condition Back to Basics we must be clear that our summoner plays a very important role in the battle, he will be the only one who can grant us abilities or weaken the opponent's cards. It is not a simple condition to play and in my opinion we must know well our collection of cards and select the ones that adapt to the existing conditions and advantages of the selected summoner.

Ante la condición de batalla Back to Basics debemos tener claro que nuestro invocador juega un papel muy importante en la batalla, será el único que pueda otorgarnos habilidades o debilitar las cartas del rival. No es una condición sencilla de jugar y en mi opinión debemos conocer bien nuestra colección de cartas y seleccionar las que se adapten a las condiciones existentes y ventajas del invocador seleccionado.
