In today's post we will see what this battle condition consists of, I will list several tips that I always use when playing under this battle condition and finally I will share with all of you a battle where I face an opponent under this condition.

En el post de hoy veremos en qué consiste esta condición de batalla, enumeraré varios consejos que siempre uso a la hora de jugar bajo esta condición de batalla y finalmente compartiré con todos vosotros una batalla en donde me enfrento a un rival bajo está condición.

What is the "ARMORED UP" condition?

When this condition is active all Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their armor.

Cuando esta condición está activa todos los Monstruos tienen 2 de Armadura además de su armadura.

How to get advantage

Let's see some simple tips to try to defeat our opponent when Armored Up is active:

• As a general rule we should use magic attack cards because armor is useless when we receive magic attacks.
• We will use a summoner that boosts our magic attacks such as Obsidian or Alric Stormbringer.
• Another option is to use summoners that weaken magical attacks such as Thaddius Brood or Owster Rotwell.
• Another summoner that I like to use when this condition is active is Grandmaster Rathe since it gives us +1 point of shield and also Void Armor to be able to use the shield against magical attacks.
• If we have cards with the ability Rust is the time to use them. It will reduce the shield of all enemy creatures.
• We can also use cards with the Repair ability that will repair the shield of our creatures.

Cómo obtener ventaja

Veamos unos sencillos consejos para intentar derrotar a nuestro rival cuando Armored Up está activa:

• Por regla general debemos usar cartas de ataque mágico ya que la armadura no sirve de nada cuando recibimos ataques mágicos.
• Usaremos un invocador que potencie nuestros ataques mágicos como puede ser Obsidian o Alric Stormbringer.
• Otra opción es usar invocadores que debiliten los ataques mágicos como pueden ser Thaddius Brood o Owster Rotwell.
• Otro invocador que me gusta mucho usar cuando esta condición está activa es Grandmaster Rathe ya que nos proporciona +1 punto de escudo y además Void Armor para poder usar el escudo contra ataques mágicos.
• Si tenemos cartas con la habilidad Rust es el momento de usarlas. Reducirá el escudo de todas las criaturas enemigas.
• También podemos usar cartas con la habilidad Repair que repararán el escudo de nuestras criaturas.

A Battle with "ARMORED UP" condition

Mana Cap: 12 # Rules: Armored Up - Fire & Regret - Rise of the Commons

I am going to share with all of you a combat of one of the Splinterlands Tournaments that I have played in these days. In the match I could only use 12 mana points so I figured that my opponent would use magic attack cards together with Obsidian and I used a strategy in which I would be benefited.

Voy a compartir con todos vosotros un combate de unos de los Torneos de Splinterlands que he disputado en éstos días. En el combate tan solo se podía usar 12 puntos de maná así que imaginé que mi rival usaría cartas de ataque mágico junto con Obsidian y usé una estrategia en la cual me viera beneficiado.

Round 1

My opponent plays Chaos Agent as first card, followed by Lurking Puffer and as attacker Regal Peryton last.

My opponent with Regal Peryton does 2 points of damage, the same as Cursed Windeku heals so the fight before it even starts is already won. It's only a matter of time before I end up destroying his creatures.

Mi rival juega con Chaos Agent como primera carta, seguida de Lurking Puffer y como atacante Regal Peryton en último lugar.

Mi rival con Regal Peryton hace 2 puntos de daño, los mismos que Cursed Windeku se cura por lo que el combate antes de empezar ya está ganado. Es solo cuestión de tiempo que termine por destruir a sus criaturas.

Round 3

On turn 3 I destroy Chaos Agent.

En el turno 3 destruyo a Chaos Agent.

Round 6

On turn 6 I destroy Lurking Puffer.

En el turno 6 destruyo a Lurking Puffer.

Round 17

It is not until turn 17 that I manage to destroy Regal Peryton after missing 7 hits.

No es hasta el turno 17 que no consigo destruir a Regal Peryton después de fallar 7 golpes.

My opinion

In Splinterlands it is as important to use our cards well, as it is to anticipate and guess the strategy that our opponent is going to use. In the shared combat my opponent could either use magic attacks or a strategy against those attacks. So I used the strategy against magic attacks, if my opponent used it I would win, otherwise we would be on equal terms and then it would be a matter of seeing who used his cards better or had them at a better level.

En Splinterlands tan importante es usar bien nuestras cartas, como adelantarnos y adivinar la estrategia que va a usar nuestro rival. En el combate compartido mi rival podría o usar ataques mágicos o una estrategia contra esos ataques. Así que yo usé la estrategia contra ataques mágicos, si mi rival la usaba saldría ganando, sino estaríamos en igualdad de condiciones y entonces sería cuestión de ver quien usaba mejor sus cartas o las tenía a mejor nivel.
