Serving Humanity is the Best Worship of God

In this world, we can survive by helping one another. We should always try to work for the betterment of humanity. We should care for the needy and poor people in our society. Most of the time, when God blesses us with everything, we forget about the needy and poor people in society.

Alhamdulillah I was brought up in a family where my parents always taught me the lesson of serving humanity. They did this practically. We always watched them helping needy people and that's why all my family members help the needy and poor people of society.

It is a famous saying that charity begins at home. It means that we should start the charity work from our relatives and then enhance it to other needy people in our society. Our religion, Islam, also emphasizes it. ALLAH says in the Holy Quran, "Give one penny in the name of ALLAH, and you will be rewarded with at least ten pennies." I have experienced it many times.

I have allocated a portion of my income to needy people. When my salary comes into my account, first of all, I give a little portion to a person who is waiting for our help. And believe me, in return, I always get money from nowhere. It has become my habit to help my poor relatives.

One of my neighbors has recently passed away, and we give food to their family daily. He was not able to earn for his family because of his old age. So we provide them food and believe me by doing this we get satisfaction and mental calmness.

I read a sentence in the textbook when I was studying in class 10. The sentence that I still remember was that God is love and the best prayer of God is to love his creation". Whenever I read this sentence, it gave me good feelings, and now I am practically following the true meaning of that sentence.

I think serving humanity is a true worship of God. One thing must be kept in mind while helping others, their self-respect shouldn't be hurt. They feel secure. Do not show off while helping others. It will destroy the whole purpose. And remember do not be selective while doing charity. It means that your help should be beyond the religion, race, or caste system. The only goal should be in your mind to serve humanity.

When you start doing charity, at first maybe you come across some difficulties. You may face criticism from your close ones. But it will be your test. You should not give up and continue your mission. A day will come when you will meet your lord, your God will be pleased with your effort and this should be your purpose in doing this work.

By helping the poor and needy people, you will be astonished to see how your sources of income are getting increased.

By concluding the post I would say if you want to be alive in the hearts of people, you will have to work for the betterment of your society. This is the only way to be happy and keep others happy.
