Exploring the biggest Cattle Market: Having fun on the Weekend

Asslamoalekum and hello to my #weekendexperiences community. I hope you are all doing well. I am also doing pretty well. Welcome to my blog. It's my first post on this community. Today I am going to share my Sunday activity. I had plenty of fun today and enjoyed my weekend.

The Weekend has always been a relaxing and enjoyable day for me. I work five days a week and recharge myself on the weekend. If we do not enjoy ourselves on the weekends, we cannot prepare ourselves for the next five working days.

Every Sunday, a cattle market is held In our district, Mianwali province, Punjab, Pakistan. The people participate in this market in numbers. Children, youngsters, old men, and adults were present in the market.

I got up early in the morning, had my breakfast, and contacted my friend Imran Khan. We have a plan to visit the cattle market, we are to buy a buffalo. The marriage ceremony of my friend Imran Khan is expected to be held on 07 November 2024. We reached there at about 1030 am. There were lots of castles in the cattle market.

The owner of the buffalo demanded 3 lac PKR. We started bargaining to buy a buffalo. We asked for 2 lac 50 thousand PKR. We bought it for 2 lac 66 thousand PKR. The owner of the buffalo said that its weight would be 400 kg. I think we bought the buffalo at a reasonable rate. Here are the pictures of the buffalo.

There was plenty of hustle and bustle in the cattle market. We spent some quality time there. I saw some vendors selling different kinds of things. There were stalls of pulao and other food items. The people were also buying goats and hens. This is the cheapest cattle market in our area. When we get bored with our daily routine life, we visit this wonderful market. Mostly on the weekends, I enjoy myself with my friends in this market.

The cows were of different colors. Some were black and white while others were red and purple.

After visiting the cattle market, we headed towards a friend's marriage ceremony. We were invited by one of our near and dear friends, Badal Taimoor Khan. He is a very humble and down-to-earth person.
He is very loving and caring. We reached there well in time. Our friend Badal Taimoor Khan welcomed us open-heartedly. He asked us to join him on the stage where the VIP guests were present. So we joined him on the stage. He called a cameraman and asked him to take our pictures with a camera. The stage was well decorated. He took some pictures of us. I also took some selfies with him. Here I am sharing these selfies.

After having some gup shup we were asked to go for lunch. They served three dishes to us. The pulao, sweet halwa, and beef curry. The pulao and beef curry were very tasty. We enjoyed our traditional dishes.
