Enjoyed the Election Day trip with my friends

Aslamoalekum and hello to my @GEMS community. I hope you are all doing well. I am also doing pretty well. It's my first post in this community. So I hope I will be welcomed by my experienced hive users on this platform.

Today in this post I would like to tell you more about our election day trip. The activities and process of the general election held in Pakistan.

08 February 2024 was a big day in the history of Pakistan because General Election 2024 was held on this day. We were quite excited like all Pakistanis because the new government was going to take charge in the next few days.

We got up early in the morning and went to cast our vote. At 08:30 I cast my vote and went to visit nearby polling stations with my friends Anaytullah Khan and Abbas Khan. We hired a car for this event. At almost 09:30 we went to our neighbour city Daud Khel to see some hustle and bustle. The people were fully pumped up and motivated because this event came after five years in Pakistan. They have the right to choose their desired candidate and their desired government.

After visiting our neighbouring city Daud Khel, we travelled towards one of my favourite cities " Bani Afghan". It's a wonderful city surrounded by mountains. We had tea and enjoyed ourselves a lot with one of our old friends Ramzan Khan at Peer Pehaee Police stationn. We enjoyed gup Shup.

After visiting Bani Afghan, we moved towards Mochh, the city of my mentor sir @yousafharoonkhan. We took some pictures there.

Then my friends asked the driver to take us to our home town Pai Khel to visit some polling stations. At first, we visited Government High School Pai Khel. We met some friends there and took some pictures. I hope you like these pictures.

Three main political parties contesting this election.
PTI ( Pakistan Tehreek Insaf) PMLN ( Pakistan Muslim League) and PPP ( Pakistan Peoples Party ). Now the results have been announced and PMLN and PPP are going to make government in the centre and two provinces Sindh and Balochistan. While the PTI is going to make his government in KPK ( Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ).

In my district Mianwali, all the candidates for PTI have won their seats in the national assembly and provincial assembly. People in my district cast their votes in numbers in favour of the PTI candidates.

But it is quite unfortunate that there is an old way of manual voting that persists in our country Pakistan. That's why political parties claim rigging allegations against their opponents. Now the voting process should be done with an EVM ( Electronic Voting Machine ) so that no political party can claim rigging allegations.
