Hello everybody on Hive and especially the Hive Open Mic Community! My name is Jasper and I'm writing (and singing) to you from Cape Town in South Africa!

Welcome to Week 164 of the Hive Open Mic Challenge. The theme for the week is “Hopeful"! I thought for a bit, and then remembered that Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” (1978) is a wonderful song full of attitude about a woman realising that the end of a relationship doesn’t mean the end of the world, and that she will actually be just fine in the end! If that’s not hopeful, I don’t know what is!

Pensé un poco y luego recordé que "I Will Survive" (1978) de Gloria Gaynor es una canción maravillosa llena de actitud sobre una mujer que se da cuenta de que el final de una relación no ¡significa el fin del mundo, y que ella realmente estará bien al final!
