Today, I want to share my latest fan art.
I decided to create a young version of the forest female, you could see the reference image right 👉here (credit to the holozing artist @craizuss).

Along with Wrackdoom the evolve form of Wrackoo, you could see the reference image right 👉here(credit to the holozing artist, I am not sure about who creates the creatures though) but if anyone know just tell me for a proper mention thank you😌

I absolutely have fun on creating this piece as well as I love the Wrackdoom creature. It's awesome and cool to see the design😁
Let's dive in to the process🎨

Art Process

First, I focus on creating the character and do a rough sketch for the pose. When doing the pose I keep it lose within the strokes and adjust accordingly to what fit most. I absolutely love the pose here and I continue to the next step.

The second image is where I do the clean line art. Like a tracing paper I add another layer on top of the rough sketch while decreasing the opacity of it. That way I could do better line quality on top of it.

In here, I added the base color of every parts of the character.
Base colors are basically flat colors. The main color of the object.

The next image is, where I put all my shadows. I usually set my shadows to multiply layer mode.

Lastly, I add the highlights. I setup two highlights first it is set to overlay mode. Choose color white and brush in the parts where light hits. Lower the opacity. Add another layer just set to normal mode and brush in another white highlight where strong light hits just like in hair and eyes.

Then I created Wrackdoom in a separate group of layers.
The same with the character step. I started with rough sketch.

Followed by a clean line art.

In here I did the base color. Color picking to it's existing color palette.

Again add the shadows that is set to multiply layer mode.

And finally, add the highlights.

Final Artwork

Final step to my process is adding the background. Some abstract gradient green background. Also the HOLOZING word logo for final touch.😁
