Digital Art Process

As always, I started with a sketch for the pose and composition of the character. 🙂 I imagine her under water just holding her wand.

In the next image, I did the clean line art. By reducing the opacity of the sketch layer and add layer on top. I'm happy with that let's go to the next step.

In here, I ready the mask layer for the character and the wand. And then I start to do the background first then add a water leaves or plants in the forground.

In the next image, I added the base color of the character and the wand.

And here, I added the highlights and some bubbles around. Also I add the scales of her tail.

In the next image, I added some depth with shadows to make the character pop.

And then render. I made corrections with her head adjust it a little and move it down a bit. Render the hair, body and tail. Also render the wand. I hide the foreground images and bubbles so that I can focus on the character.

In, the next image is add a magical light with her wand. Also made the foreground and bubbles blur a little. I also add sharks at the background.🦈

Lastly, I add a blur and focus the sharp details on her upper body and wand. I also put it in a card border to make it stylish 😁see image below.👇
