Weekends At The Cafe

What's your usual weekends look like? Are you one who's always in the outdoors, like in the malls, touring around the city, or travelling? Or do you prefer to stay at home, watch Netflix, read your favorite book, and prepare home cooked meals?

Most weekends, I prefer the latter. I'm grateful to have the privilege of a lazy routine during weekends, wake up late, eat brunch, and rolls back to bed. On weekends, I spend my time mostly in the kitchen preparing my favorite meals or washing the dishes.

During month ends, I'm usually working overtime since I have to prepare monthly financial reports. So sometimes, i go to cafes to get my work done. Two important things I check before ordering in a cafe is first, an outlet that allows me to charge my laptop, and second, fast Wi-Fi so i could access my emails. Fortunately, Coffeebay met these criterias.

I opted for a non caffeine drink, banana yogurt, since i already had coffee for breakfast. The drink wasn't too impressive but what i'm really after is a place to finish my work. Fortunately, the place is very peaceful and comfortable. I love the light bulb design in the ceiling, making the place aesthetically pleasing in the eye. The location is very accessible too since its inside Ayala Malls, Cebu.

Once in a while, i explore new cafes on weekends. Its one of the few simple pleasures i have in life. Each coffee shop have different vibe that is distinct to them.

Maybe i should try to visit local spots like museums, art galleries, salons and spas too, just to unwind and create new experiences. My fellow Cebuano Hivers, feel free to suggest nice places in the comment section.

That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!

Sending some love and light

Love, Jane
