"I know work is important. But your health comes first." - Queen of Tears

Hey beautiful people of hive! I hope you are doing well. Last Friday, I had my first ever massage experience. My officemates and I went to Avene Spa & Massage after work to pamper ourselves and relax.



The smell of the entire place was filled with lavender because of this cute diffuser. Most of us availed the full body massage with aromatherapy that costs P550.00 ($10.00) that is good for 60 minutes. Since it was my first ever massage experience, I rely on the massage therapist. After a few minutes of waiting, the friendly staff started their service by offering a wooden bathtub with hot water for the feet.


She then transferred each of us to a separate room to start the full body massage. The room was dimmed but not totally dark. I appreciate that they also play relaxing musical instrument in the background, almost close to a Zen atmosphere.

I didn't talk much during the massage and just savored the calmness that i was feeling during the moment. I realized that i missed this kind of peace that i rarely have due to the demands of life. In a way, it feels like meditation too. Some people sleep during massage but not me. I was attentive to the strokes and pressure of the massage therapist in my body. By the end of the session, they offered either tea or water. I chose the former.

It was already dinner time so we decided to have dinner before going home. We were so hungry that we crave for unlimited meals. Yoshimeatsu- a Korean-Japanese unli restaurant place was nearby so we ended up eating there.



They offer a variety of premium meat and side dishes. My favorite is the melted cheese on the sides.


We sure had a great time with our tummies full by the time we go home.
