Fridays At Work

Happy Friday, dear Hivers! I must admit, I'm one of those people who always look forward to Fridays because its the end of the work week.

By default, i'm assigned to go to the office every Friday, unless if I file for leave or my colleague swaps their office day with me. Today, I received my online parcel consisting of lip tints. My officemates have been raving about this popular tint, so I bought all three colors.



I then swatched the tints in my hand. The first one from the left has peachy color, perfect for when i want to opt for a Korean-style make up. The second variant is pinkish in color. The last shade is the one that suits my skin color the most, in my opinion. Regardless, i'm going to wear these three anyway. Depending on my mood for the day.

By afternoon, my friend and I were craving for fries and burgers, so we ordered snacks at Burger King through Grab. I've been craving for their burger for the whole week. Finally, I get to eat one.

We stayed in the office pantry to take some break and catch up with each other. I forgot to mention that i have several officemates from my previous job who transferred in this company. So sitting with them again in a different setting feels nostalgic. We sure had a lot of laughs as we reminisced the good old days. Maybe this is what they called "trauma bonding".



We decided to continue our conversation over dinner since it was already around 8pm. Unfortunately, only a few restaurants were open so we opted to eat at the nearest restaurant- Sunburst.

I went home past the usual time but I sure had a great time. Now a days, going to the office feels exciting because of my friends. Despite the heavy workload, I'm no longer weary knowing that I'm not alone. So I'm very grateful for them.
