Fat Dois | Where Cheese and Chicken Collide

If you're a cheese lover, Fat Dois restaurant is the perfect place to go for a cheesy chicken fix. When I was in college, about 5 years ago, this restaurant, who was then newly open, has a crazy long waiting line. I would consider myself lucky every time I can dine at Fat Dois and survived the long queue line. Surprisingly, their menu consist of only less than 10 meals, all have cheese as part of the ingredients. They made sure to craft their menus well, only selling the best sellers and omit the rest. I also noticed that most diners avail all items in the menu since its budget friendly and very worth the price, perfect for celebrating birthdays, or other milestones.

Fast forward to the present days, I still enjoy eating at Fat Dois. We went to their A.S Fortuna branch on a weekday since its just near our office. I find it peculiar because there was no people waiting in line. In fact, we were the first customers for that day.


Their menu has also gotten fewer. Maybe because this isn't the main branch. We ordered their solo meals this time plus cheesy chicks and backribs for sharing.




The familiar taste brought me back to the good old days. Their foods are still the ones that i loved back in the day. Although its my first time to try their solo meals. I think its new in their menu.

After eating lunch, we went back to our office. One thing I noticed though id they don't have desserts. Drinks are also limited to canned sodas and water only. I wish they would also sell ice cream for a perfect dining experience.
