Eat All You Can Samgyupsal
Hey, fellow foodies! A week ago, our manager treated us for lunch to celebrate the end of audit season. We decided to eat at Samgyupsalamat, located near the office.
I have been an avid Kdrama fan since high school and love everything Korean. I remember the first few years this restaurant open, people line up and waited hours just to dine here. It's safe to say that this restaurant is one of the pioneering samgyupsal place here in Cebu. However today, only a few people dined so we were able to get ourselves a seat.
They offer a variety of Korean side dishes too. Just like most eat-all-you-can samgyupsal restaurant, they have different sauces. My favorite is their melted cheese. Although we weren't able to order their enoki mushroom as our plates were so full already. For the meat, they serve chicken, pork and beef in different seasonings. In my opinion, the tastiest among all is the Yangyum beef. They also serve ala cart meals for those who opt for a lighter meal.
We are seated by four in every table. I'm very fortunate because my seatmates are very generous in cooking the meat for us. So we ended up refilling a lot of times. How i wish we also availed soju to pair it with the meat.
The verdict:
Their leafy greens weren't wash properly and the miso soup has a peculiar taste. I honestly think there are a lot better samgyupsal restaurant than Samgyupsalamat. However, i commend their savory meats and friendly staffs that made our dining experience memorable. The accessibility of the place is a plus too. Finally, my rate for Samgyupsalamat is a decent 3/5.
It's already past lunch time and we now head back to the office with our tummies full.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
Love, Jane
