Colors of Life | Playful Violet
I've always associate color violet as youthful, playful, and young. Now that I'm in my mid-twenties, I try to wear these kinds of color palette to reinstate my youth. This is actually my favorite color, plus all the pastels. So allow me to share these photos from our little fun shoot with my sisters at Museum of Emotions. (see: museum of emotions)
These photos were taken around this time last year as one of our first get together with my sister and cousin. Since its our first time to hang out, outside of family gatherings, we opted to visit the mall for better accessibility. My cousin and I are just about the same age so we understand each other's struggles and get along well.
We sure had a lot of fun playing billiards, albeit just pretending to actually know how to play. haha.
Additional Entry!
While browsing my gallery, I saw this hot halo-halo dessert (locally known as binignit), and thought of including it in my blog since it's color violet too. Filipinos commonly make this dish during holy week as most religious families avoid meat during this time. I can't exactly say the rationale as to why they make this dish during holy week but in our household, we make this dessert not just in holy week but also on random weekends because this is my mother's favorite. She likes it with less brown sugar or muscovado and lots of bananas. Now im craving for one!
A huge thank you to @lifescape-tribe for hosting this weekly contest! After missing 2 colors, im finally able to blog my entry for this week. I would like to nominate @wholesamdiaries to join in this colors of life challenge.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
Love, Jane
