Cafe elim | Pastries And Dessert

On a random Thursday night, my sister wanted to eat out after work so we decided to meet at Cafe elim, since it is near our workplace. I've heard so many good reviews about this place but its my first time to visit here.


"Go Where The Stars Take You." I love this quote outside their cafe because it reminds us to just go with the flow of life. Sometimes we have this urge for things to be in a certain way and we get disappointed when it doesn't go as we expected it to.



They serve plenty of pastries like cakes, croissants, French baguette, loaf breads, and egg tarts. Since we just ate dinner, something sweet and light was what we wanted. The barista suggested for their shaved ice cream in mango flavor.

The truth is, we were just really looking for a nice place to chill for a while before going home together; to sit in comfortable silence. Having this dessert is already a bonus. As for its taste, i find it normal, just like any other shaved ice cream.

I also love the random notes in the walls of the cafe. Their interior is very vibrant and golden.

My sister and I are just a year apart in age so we basically are like twins growing up. I remember when we were kids, my mom always style us in the same outfit so people would think we are biological twins. Now that we're both full pledged adults, we go hand in hand over everything like doing household chores and other family responsibilities. But of course there are times when we have misunderstandings too. Just like any other relationship, we have our own complexity.

Anyways, after a while, we took a taxi and went home.
