A quick adventure to the cold Spring

Hey Hivers! Last weekend, we went to a quick trip to Middle Earth Spring Resort after our challenging hike at My Mago. It's a 20 min drive from the hiking station but we enjoyed the view of the green environment.

We arrived just in time for lunch and everyone was already very hungry and tired from the hike. Most of us were still soaking wet from the rain and sweat since we don't have any extra tshirts but despite the uncomfortable situation, people's enthusiasm ruled over at the sight of the cold pool.

Before diving in the pool, we first looked for the cold spring somewhere in the area. Alas! We found the spring. But it wasn't what we expected. The Spring referred to in the resort was a tiny crack in the corner where cold natural water flows. There are several springs surrounding the swimming pool but it still couldn't fill in the pool by itself.

While the resort was still preparing our lunch, we had a quick dip in their 4ft swimming pool. The water was so cold which I think is good for our tiring muscles. A cooler temperature of the water would feel like we're on an ice bath.

Finally, lunch is now ready. Everyone quickly got out of the pool and ate their meal. The food was okay, just enough to fill our hungry stomachs. I would've love to eat something cold and sweet like ice candy, ice cream, or shake. But we make do of whatever is available.

After lunch, we then hopped into the pool for the last time before going back to the city. This time, it was on a 5ft swimming pool.

Despite the uncomfortable feeling of wearing wet clothes going back to the city, we all enjoyed the trip.

That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!

Sending some love and light

With love, Jane

Haha that's a cute spring though. And the place looks nice naman, even the dried leaves on the ground add an effect on the place. But really, y'all travel back wet? Parang aabutin naman ng sakit kapag ganyan,, but its still a fun experience. We uses to do that sa dagat naman malapiy lang sa bahay namin so di aabutin ng sakit if ever. Hehe
