1000 Drones Took Flight On Dragon Boat Festival Night Show

I was browsing my gallery when I came across these photographs. They've already been in my gallery for a while and should be shared. This event was held in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, following the Dragon Boat Festival competition.

The Excitement At Hong Kong's International Dragon Boat Race After Four Years Of Hiatus
This year marked the second celebration following the pandemic hiatus. I was unable to watch the dragon boat competition since I was preoccupied with other activities. However, at night, I went out to see what was going on at the harbourfront. I heard about the drone show and really wanted to see it.
The drone exhibition has been illuminating Victoria Harbor since May as part of Hong Kong's Tourism to attract tourists at night. This goes along with the iconic Symphony of Lights every eight in the evening. During the event, there were thousands of drones creating images of dragons and other characters related to the festival. This show attracted thousands of visitors as well. I've never seen a light show done by drones. It looks wonderful. It must be amazing to see these images being created in the sky

We just had our Dragon Boat races here in Vancouver in late June. It's always a big local attraction here.
It's really exciting to cheer on your country's name. Not sure if the Philippines win. But last year, they had a great performance.

That's pretty cool considering its done via a drone. It also luminates some cool reflections in the water.
It was really cool. I watched from the opposite side of the harbor, I guess it was prettier to capture if I watched closer.

We have this kind of show yearly held in town, especially during the FITS festival. It's a pretty good way to give up on using fireworks too.
