Studying a way to success/Mental fitness
Introduction
How are you all doing hivians, I do hope your all doing great and ready to learn or get reminded of something from me, as I am ready to learn from you. This is another article centered on my niche; Achieving a betterlife, I will like for you to stick to the end of this article and tell me what you think in the comment section; you can share your opposing or complimentary opinions, I don't mind love to hear them all.
What is success ?
In my last post on this community A BETTER LIFE I spoke of success in a broad form, now lets look at it specifically. Success is a common word used by everyone especially our loved ones who wishes for us to be successful, when someone wishes you that, what comes to mind is usually monetary gains, acing an exam or simply getting that relationship you wanted, is that really true ?, let us look at a dictionary meaning;
"Success is the achieving of something you have been trying to do, with a good result"
....... Longman dictionary
In this definition there are several key points to note : achieving, trying to do, a good result. You need all these to ascertain success, ultimately success is tied to a goal (trying to do) and meeting that goal (achieving it at a good result), simply getting whats needed or wanted done.
What's studying ?
I love to look at studying as a middleman between learning abd the activities that leads to learning. Looking closely, studying is the comprehensive name of applying the stages in the cone of learning.
I will like to discuss some major components of studying which involves reading and listening; this stages are the receptive stage in studying where you receive information, the starting of every study session involves reading a book or listening to a lecture, it then goes further to other components such as; simulating a real life event; which I like to call meditative or brainstorming stage as it brings about creativity and experience through navigating the simulation in your mind or in any other form, this stage also covers doing the real thing.
Importance of studying

- It improves your mental health
- It promotes creativity
- It boost memory recollection
- It improves your perspective
- It broadens your knowledge on any aspect you focus on
- It's the preliminary move to achieve anything
- It helps reduce the chances of failure
- It improves confidence
- It improves your standard of living.
The relationship between studying and your mental health
Reading is simply a component of studying, it involves recognizing words in a book or any written item, reading alone isn't studying, reading and meditating is studying, as the words have meaning and a structure in the mind which will effectively ensure growth in your mental intelligence in a period of time depending on the area or nature of studying.
