To me, I don't really blame secrecy, there's a popular quote on youtube that says your friend have other friends, so technically your joy said to one friend is to all, only your close friends you tell and instruct them to not share I think that's the best.
I'm pretty sure you have figured by now that the monitoring spirits are humans and due to entitlement mentality will surely cause strife and that can show a picture of what might happen, people trying to cut the glory short. So balance as always is needed.
