Who is your role model? A role model is someone who is admired and whose behavior people try to copy. A role model is often calm, confident, committed, selfless, and can overcome obstacles.

Who is my role model?

Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro popularly known as CR7 is my role model. He is a well-known footballer who plays as a forward (No 7) for the great Manchester United. He is also the captain of the Portugal Football Club. Cristiano is known for his pace, skills, and ability to lead. The 37 years old footballer was born on February 5, 1985.

Why do I like and admire Cristiano Ronaldo?

If there is something you should know about my role model, it is the fact that he is a generous person. Just like my mom, Cristiano Ronaldo is a very generous person. He teamed up with his agent, Jorge Mendes to donate £ 1 million to hospitals in Portugal to help battle coronavirus. He is also a frequent blood donor which is the main reason he keeps his body tattoo-free. Presently, Ronaldo is an ambassador for three major charity groups; Save the Children, UNICEF, and World Vision. We all know the story of Nuhuzet Guillen; A nine-year old boy who had cancer in 2009. Ronaldo sent his driver to bring him and his family to the Real Madrid Hotel. The Portuguese also gave him his signed match shirt and paid for his experimental treatments and all of his medications. We have also seen a lot of fans who ran towards Ronaldo on the field and he’s usually happy to hug them or take a selfie with them.

Cristiano Ronaldo has a lot of achievements: who wouldn’t admire what Ronaldo has achieved? The Portuguese have made headlines in the history of football. Presently, he is the highest goal scorer; both in his club and country. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has also played extremely well for different football clubs. Even though the Portuguese is 37 years old, he is still making headlines.

He makes time for his family: Cristiano likes training and playing football, but whenever he is off the pitch, he spends quality time with his family. His family is very important to him and he shows this by going on different vacations with them. The Portuguese take good care of his biggest fan; his mom and that is one of the reasons I love Cristiano Ronaldo.

He is a determined player: Determination is one of the qualities that makes you a successful person. There are times when life pushes us to the end, sometimes we almost feel like giving up. This is the same with Ronaldo. He is a very determined football player, he doesn't give up no matter what.
