RE: A Surprising Encounter with a Chameleon

Please be aware that the fascinating insects community is only about arthropods like insects, spiders, scorpions, millipedes etc. but not about reptiles.
Furthermore, your picture doesn't show a chameleon but an agama species!
By the way, both, chameleons and agamas, are completely harmless animals, so it is no problem at all to make photos from close up.

Well I really don't have much knowledge about these species. It looks similar to a Chameleons and also change colors like the Chameleon, maybe that's why I assumed it to be a Chameleon.
Thank you making things clear for me and for clarifying the community rules. I will be aware next time.
It's slimmer and more elongated than a chameleon, feet and eyes (a chameleon can move its eyes independently from each other) are different, and the movements of agamas are much faster (apart from the chameleon's long tongue darting out at lightning speed when hunting insects).
Yes, I didn't mean any offense, but I have to make sure that the posts here stay on-topic.
Thank you for information 😊
