What a relief! How to make a 3d painting when you're bored! π
Hi Hiveians! Today I'd like to show you how to make a beautiful 3D painting, like a relief map that was really fun to make, hopefully fun for you too!
When I said we are going to do this with toilet paper, no joke! This can also be done with tissue paper, but I didn't have that hehe. This is something nice to do when you're bored, want to put your toilet paper to style, or just have a lot of it! π
Materials:
A piece of cardboard (or anything to make it on)
Paint
Elmers Glue
A cup/mug and teaspoon
Color palette or plastic plate
Toilet/tissue paper
Water and Love!
First, I painted grass on the piece of cardboard that I cut out. So it looked like this:
After the paint dried, here comes a fun part; I took a cup that I found in the back of the pantry that we hardly use and filled it with some water. Then take the paper and rip it into smaller pieces into the cup as shown.
Let out the anger!
Blend it well with a teaspoon. (You can remove some water in the sink if you poured in too much. Squeezing the toilet paper is not necessary because it should be a bit moist.) :)
Doing this was "How to get weird looks from people 101, but it works!" π
Mix it with the colors of your choice and some glue. Having some chunks in there is okay, that is kinda the point. ;)
After the mixing, I loved the texture. It was behaving just like paint but way thicker!
You can make some other colors too and on to the canvas!
Apply some glue like this. Then add it on top!:
Surprisingly, this dried way quicker than I thought since it's thick for the 3d effect. I was expecting about 6-7 days but it only needed 3 days! Wow!
The results:
Thank you for viewing my post! I really enjoyed making this and I hope you did too watching, or learning something new! Enjoy the rest of your day!
